90 Day Fiancé couple Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar have gone over the edge. The two had their fair share of problems from day one. These ranged from Hamme’s jealousy, to her overbearing demands and need to be in control. The two wound up marrying one another, but Hamme recently announced that Umar used her and TLC, and scammed them both. Now, Usman Umar is firing back at Hamme’s claims, saying that’s not the case.

Usman Umar makes suicide claims

During a chat with Angela Lee of the podcast Lip Service, Usman Umar claimed that his 90 Day Fiancé partner, Babygirl Lisa Hamme, threatened suicide if he wouldn’t marry her.

The Nigerian musical artist told Lee, “So, after some time, I was like, this cannot continue. We spent about one year with you telling me that you love me, you love me, and I was saying that I love you, I love you. But deeply in me I know it’s not love. I don’t love you for real, honestly. But I do know that to make you happy, I do that to, you know, to make you happy – to calm you down.”

He went on to claim, “So Lisa starts, you know, trying to hang herself, commit suicide. I was like, no, no. My father is an Imam and we were taught in the way that is good for you to please somebody. It’s better I tolerate her, you know problems – all the headaches she has given me – and make her leave, than for me to say I didn’t love her, then go and kill herself. So, I was like, it’s better for me to tolerate that, you know…than for me to say I don’t love you, then she go and kill herself because of me. So that is how it happened.”

Hamme later addressed the claim, saying it was a “big f*ck up” on Umar’s end. She said, “But after hearing the garbage coming out of Sojaboy’s mouth, saying that I tried to hang myself and commit suicide? Big f*ck up Sojaboy, big f*ck up. I would never think suicide over any man.”

Babygirl Lisa Hamme calls Usman Umar a scammer

During a chat with her promoter, 90 Day Fiancé Babygirl Lisa claimed that Usman Umar is nothing more than a scammer who played her and TLC alike.

Hamme claimed, “To everyone listening here, it’s very apparent that I am a victim of a romance scam. My husband has used TLC, his family, his friends, people around the world. And I’m going to apologize to everyone here. I did not know that my husband, Sojaboy, was that desperate to become a singer that he would use me and his family and friends. And TLC, the show.”

She also claimed that Umar had been cheating on her via text message with other women. She went on to add, “He blocked me on all platforms so I don’t know what’s going on and that’s the sad part becuase everyone comes and tells me what’s going on. … I cannot believe Sojaboy is gonna try and come off as a saint. This man had nothing when I met him, nothing. … He used me and my daughter, telling us that he loved us, that we were the only people that mattered in his life, that he would love me until the day I die.”

Usman Umar isn’t taking his 90 Day Fiancé partner’s claims lying down. In fact, during a recent Instagram live session with Domenick Nati, captured by John Yates, he claimed that’s not the case.

Umar said, “I don’t have any time for negativity. I want everyone to be in peace. I want everybody to succeed, and I want everybody to be happy.”

“If she said I used her for the show or for anything, that is her opinion. But I’ve been with her before the show for two years. … So if she says I used her for the show, if she says I scammed her, I don’t see what I scammed about Lisa. If really I’m a scammer, I shouldn’t go for someone like this, I should go for someone who is rich,” he added.
