When 90 Day Fiancé star Varya Malina told Geoffrey Paschel she wanted to wait on getting engaged and he took it as a breakup, fans flooded her inbox with messages telling her she “dodged a bullet.”

“The main comment, the most popular comment in my DMs, was: ‘Varya you dodged a bullet.’ It was everywhere,” Varya said in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on June 3.

Now, after officially getting engaged to Geoffrey, Varya has a message for those fans: “Geoffrey is not a bullet. He’s like an AK-47. You will run and zig-zag, you will have no chance to dodge the bullet.”

No one can stop Varya Malina from being with Geoffrey Paschel if that’s what she wants

Varya said in the interview that, at the end of the day, she’s going to do whatever she wants to do. Her mother isn’t comfortable with her moving to America to be with Geoffrey. But that’s not going to stop her.

“My mom is not big fan of idea of me move to another country. Obviously, she wasn’t that happy like me at that moment. She said, ‘Varya, you have lots of time without those emotions when you were just engaged, planning a wedding, you have so many thoughts.’ She just said, ‘Calm down. You have time to plan, to think, overthink.’ Then the COVID stuff happened and she said, ‘Everything happens for a reason,’” she said.

Varya’s mother isn’t alone in her thinking. Apparently, Varya has other family members who share her concern. But they know Varya is going to do what she thinks is best.

“I would say my family’s not aggressive because they know me, there’s no chance they will say no and I will follow this if I feel that I need. Nobody can stop me,” she said.

Geoffrey and Varya on doing their own ’90 Day Fiancé’ Tell-All

Geoffrey was not invited to TLC’s “Tell-All” because of his domestic assault charges, but he and Varya filmed their own to share an update on their relationship.

“I feel that the network has bowed down to the pressure of a few thousand people as opposed to the .3 million people that watch the show, which is unfortunate. We’re in a different time now. The whole Me Too movement and whatever. So there’s a lot of pressure to cower to the minority and wanting to make sure that they’re making the wrong decision,” Geoffrey said in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on May 19 of his not being invited to the “Tell-All.”

Varya, on the other hand, was invited to the “Tell-All,” but she’s not participating because she went on the show “as a team” with Geoffrey.

“How can I tell his story, his side, with my poor English? I think it’s not fair,” she said.
