’90 Day Fiancé’: Wife of Leida Marghareta’s Ex Claims She Tried to Give Away Her Own Son
90 Day Fiancé has had its fair share of bizarre and challenging couples. Drama is part of the show’s appeal, after all. But when it comes to rumors and bizarre claims, Leida Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook tend to take the cake. The couple is infamous among 90 Day Fiancé fans for their controversial choices. For example, Eric kicked his teenage daughter out of his apartment at Leida’s request, and helped her file paperwork for a restraining order. Now, new allegations and claims have arisen regarding Leida’s past, and they’re grim.
Leida gets a restraining order
In a controversial move, 90 Day Fiancé star Eric Rosenbrook decided to follow up on Leida Margaretha’s demands and kicked his then-teenage daughter out of his apartment. What makes this especially ironic is that Eric had just discussed with Leida what family means to Americans.
“In America, family is what matters. And it’s everybody, even kids from a different marriage,” Eric told Leida. To make matters worse, Eric turned around after kicking out his own daughter and helped Leida fill out the paperwork necessary to file a restraining order.
As a result of the restraining order, Eric’s daughter, Tasha, is not allowed to contact Leida. She is, however, allowed to communicate with her father. It seems as if Tasha has since refrained from having major contact with Eric.
Dealing with death threats
As a result of their actions, many 90 Day Fiancé fans began to turn on Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Margaretha. Things escalated rapidly, and the pair allegedly began receiving death threats, some of which were targeted at Leida’s son.
Leida addressed the death threats in a since-deleted Instagram video. “We put our lives in danger. We put our lives on the frontline. This is not fair. This is not worth it all. We are never going to do this again. … I swear to God, once the contract is done, we will reveal everything that they didn’t on the show.”
The couple were so concerned over the death threats and its toll on their mental health that they decided against joining 90 Day Fiancé for another season. “No, we won’t be on the next season. We will deal everything on our own. … Death threats are not acceptable under any circumstances. If I made those death threats by myself I wouldn’t let the authorities involved. Whoever says, ‘Boohoo Leida, this is on you’ … I pray you will never experience the same way like I have … My son doesn’t deserve to be killed or kidnapped. I keep it real. I never lie. I value honesty and I hope it will help me at the court later,” said Leida.
The rumors about Leida’s past
Earlier this year, Soap Dirt posted screenshots of texts that allegedly reveal a shocking request from Leida, among other claims. A source claiming to be the wife of Leida’s ex-flame alleges that Leida tried to convince her previous lover to adopt her son, Alessandro.
“She asked my husband, her ex f*ckboy to adopt her son. Apparently, she asked my husband for not only him to adopt Aless, but us both,” claims the source. The source went on to say, “Her son can’t even speak! She would hire Filipino ladies in Japan to watch him so she could go out. Apparently, her babysitter would leave the kid alone, since the b*tch would take too long to come home.”
The source went on to claim that Leida was involved in a car crash while street racing in Indonesia that resulted in three deaths. They added, “Three people died in Indonesia! No arrest records. No trial. Her daddy paid those poor people off.”
While there’s no concrete evidence supporting these claims, they’re shocking if true — and would only add fuel to the fire when it comes to how fans feel about the 90 Day Fiancé star.
