‘A Million Little Things’ Season 3 Episode 12 recap

The last episode of A Million Little Things, “Junior,” ended with the shocking death of George Floyd. Rome and Regina’s foster son, Tyrell (Adam Swain), received a link to the video from his girlfriend. Then the entire Howard family watched in despair. While the series did not play any video, the producers assumed that viewers knew what it contained. A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 13 picks up in the midst of marches for the unjust killing of George Floyd.

Before watching the video, Regina and Rome separately spoke to Florence (Karen Robinson) and Walter about their new relationship. Florence wanted to take things to the next level, but she wasn’t sure that Walter was ready. Luckily, Regina told her that Walter had a condom at the ready. Meanwhile, Rome and Tyrell told Walter that they could tell Florence was into him. The pep talk about the older widowers was a sweet moment before the tragedy.

‘A Million Little Things’ Season 3 Episode 13 trailer teases more tragedy

In the A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 13 trailer, the Howard family prepares to head out to protest the unjust killing of George Floyd. However, Rome might not participate because he’s afraid of the anger that might overtake him.

“I don’t trust myself right now, Gina,” Rome admits in the A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 13 trailer. “I know that if a cop so much as blows a whistle wrong…”

He doesn’t finish his sentence before the scene switches to a clip of protesters in the streets. Then Rome gives a warning to their foster son, Tyrell, before he heads out to a protest.

“There are police out there looking for a reason to take your life,” Rome tells Tyrell. “Young man, do not give them a reason.”

The ending scene of the trailer is the scariest. It’s evident that both Florence and Regina joined the movement in the streets with Walter and Tyrell. However, Rome stayed at home watching the protests on TV. That’s when he received a call from his father that someone was injured.

“Rome, she got hurt,” Walter tells his son in the A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 13 trailer.

Is someone leaving the ‘A Million Little Things’ cast?

Viewers don’t know yet who was hurt and how badly. Was the person hurt badly enough that they might die? It is probably Florence or Regina, but it could be one of the other female characters. Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller), or Darcy Cooper (Floriana Lima) could have joined their friends in the protest. So, it could be either of those two women as well. There are photos that show Katherine (Grace Park) at the protests with Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) and Alan Kay (Terry Chen) so she’s a possibility as well.

None of the actors have let anything slip at this point about leaving A Million Little Things. Fans first guess is Florence since she was probably closest to Walter at the time. However, viewers have to wait and see what happens when A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 13 airs on ABC on May 12, 2021.
