Georgia gives Detective Saunders a tip to lead him straight to Gary

The episode opens with Anna Benoit (Erin Karpluck) by her husband, Peter Benoit’s bedside in the hospital. He’s still in a coma when Detective Craig Saunders (Brian Markinson) comes in to ask her a few more questions. When he asks whether she noticed anything odd leading up to the attack, she admits a man with a beard parked outside their home in a dark grey SUV. Anna also adds that Peter’s students love him dearly.

However, later that evening, Mara sends her the link to Sophie’s (Lizzy Greene) guest appearance on Maggie’s (Allison Miller) podcast. In the A Million Little Things Season 3 finale, Sophie shared details about her sexual assault and told listeners Peter’s name.

‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 3 recap: The Bruins party

The “Boys Night” in A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 3 doesn’t go at all as the men planned. Gary and Eddie get overly excited about Theo (Tristan Byon) texting Shanice’s daughter, Kiana (Jaeda Owens), and he runs off embarrassed. Then Rome (Romany Malco) tosses his Bruins sweatshirt at Liam (Mattia Castrillo), and he jumps up to wash his hands.

Plus, Gary can’t find his lucky Bruins hat that John Dixon (Ron Livingston) gave him during chemotherapy. Instead of watching the game, Gary, Rome, and Liam search for the hat. They end up driving to the place where Darcy (Floriana Lima) dropped off Gary’s donations. Although Liam overcomes his fear of germs to search for Gary’s hat, it’s not there. Later, the Bruins lose, and Gary admits he doesn’t deserve Darcy or Liam.

Meanwhile, Eddie takes Theo to Halpert’s to buy craft supplies for a grand gesture before Kiana leaves to visit her father in Los Angeles. Eddie comes across the blonde woman, Nicole (Rachel Nichols), who viewers think might be the one who hit him. Theo turns up before he can say anything, prompting Eddie to ask where they might find the glitter. Eddie did not listen to his new therapist, Russ’s (Michael Patrick Thornton) advice. Russ told Eddie earlier that even if he gets to speak to the person who hit him, it won’t change his life, and he will still be in a wheelchair.

Theo has his dad play music for his grand gesture while he reveals a message on signs like in Love Actually. Theo’s last two signs stick together, and he says the words “I really like you” aloud to Kiana. She returns the gesture, and the adorable young kids smile at each other.

The Divorce Party gets awkward

The ladies throw Katherine a divorce party, and Shanice Williamson (Nikiva Dionne) makes a surprise appearance. Later the women, including Maggie, Darcy, and Regina (Christina Moses), play “Never Have I Ever” and laugh over how three of the women dated Gary. However, things get awkward when Darcy mentions trying to have a baby with Gary. Luckily, Sophie notices that Maggie is uncomfortable and steals her away to venture out for ice.

When Darcy and Maggie suggest that Katherine begin to date again, the attorney gets upset. Shanice has a private heart-to-heart talk with Katherine about doing what she feels is right. So, Katherine tells Darcy and Maggie that she’s not ready to meet a guy at a bar, but she would love to stay in and play flip cup.
