‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 3 recap

Peter Benoit’s (Andrew Leeds) eyes fluttered in the final moments of A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 3. Meanwhile, his wife, Anna Benoit (Erin Karpluck), had opened his phone to snoop around. That same evening, she ran into Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene). The teenager insisted that Peter sexually assaulted her, and it looks like Anna began to wonder if she was telling the truth.

Gary, on the other hand, went about his day, not mentioning Peter at all. He lost his lucky Bruins hat that Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston) gave him during chemotherapy. However, he’s happy to move to Lenox with Darcy and her son, Liam (Mattia Castrillo).

Eddie’s new therapist, Russ (Michael Patrick Thornton), tried to bring Eddie back to the present instead of dwelling on his hit-and-run. However, before the episode closed, Nicole called Eddie and asked to sit down and talk.

‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 4 promo trailer

In the A Million Little Things preview for season 4 episode 4, “Pinocchio,” viewers see Peter is awake. However, more shocking is the photo that Detective Craig Saunders (Brian Markinson) holds up in front of Peter’s face. The picture shows Christopher Gregory (Michael Weston) getting in or out of Gary’s car. In episode 2 of season 4, Christopher insisted on speaking to Gary because he was worried about getting caught.

Someone was watching their interaction and snapped a photo. The detective questions Peter about whether he recognizes either of the men. Unless he doesn’t remember what happened the night of his assault, Peter could easily confirm Christopher was there.

Also, in the preview for next week’s A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 4, Gary insists he was with his father. However, it seems like the detective questioned Gary about his alibi before telling him that Peter is awake and able to tell his side of the story. The episode’s description also adds that “Gary’s past starts to affect his future with Darcy.” From the press photos, it looks like Darcy is very mad at Gary. Is their relationship over?

Also, in the promo, viewers find out that it’s Maggie’s last day filling in for Dr. Stacy. She hopes to stay, but from the look Claudia (Andrea Bang) gave her, something doesn’t seem quite right. Plus, Eddie finally sits down with the person from his hit-and-run when A Million Little Things returns for season 4 episode 4.

For A Million Little Things Season 4, the producers switched Szostak from a series regular to a recurring character. According to TV Line, Delilah will return to the show, but not as often as she did in seasons 1 and 2.

“She’s in a couple early on, and then I know where we’re going for the season finale,” Nash told TVLine. “And then hopefully in the middle, if she’s able to and we have the stories for it, we’ll do that, as well. I’m hoping we see her more than we saw her last year.”

Currently, on the show, Delilah and Danny are in France. That storyline is back again because the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine is still required to enter Canada. Szostak lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons. However, A Million Little Things films in Vancouver, British Columbia. Before the pandemic, the actor traveled back and forth every few days for filming and then to be with her family. However, she cannot do that with the two-week quarantine period.

A Million Little Things Season 4 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC and is available for streaming the next day on Hulu.
