Many newcomers joined the A Million Little Things Season 4 cast, including Nick and Jane. Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller) took on a new job, filling in on Dr. Stacy’s radio show. However, now that her two-week period is up, Maggie wants to keep the job. However, Jane Goodman (Stephnie Weir) makes the final decision. In A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 4, Jane caught Maggie gossiping about Nick (Mark Derwin) and Jane’s past relationship. It looks like the pair might be here to stay, so why do Nick and Jane look so familiar?

Who are Nick and Jane in ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4?

In A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 2, Maggie met Nick, the traffic and weather guru at the radio station. The pair did not get off on the right foot. Nick continually tried to undermine Maggie’s show by prank-calling her while she was on the air. Later, Maggie canceled one of Nick’s segments to continue talking to a child needing guidance.

Then in episode 4, when Jane and Nick begin bickering with one another, Maggie and Claudia (Andrea Bang) leave the room. However, in the break room, Maggie accidentally confides in Rachel (Jill Morrison) from Human resources about Jane and Nick creating a “hostile work environment.” The pair get scolded by the HR department, and it sounds like Jane and Nick know that Maggie was the one who reported them.

Claudia also fills Maggie in on the past work relationship between Jane and Nick. The pair dated, but Jane dumped Nick when she was promoted. Their hostility toward each other remains rampant any time they are in the same room. In A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 5, viewers find out more about both Nick and Jane Goodman when Maggie sits down to talk to them both individually.

What else was Mark Derwin in before the cast of ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4?

There are numerous reasons why viewers might recognize Mark Derwin before becoming Nick in the cast of A Million Little Things Season 4. According to IMDb, the film and television actor began his career as Jeremiah Brown on Days of Our Lives in 1987. The following year, Derwin portrayed Adrian Hunter on The Young and the Restless. Next, he switched to the soap opera Guiding Light in 1990 to portray detective A.C. Mallet, who became a leading character. He also spent a considerable amount of time playing Ben Davidson on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live.

In 2008, Derwin took a leading role in the cast of the Secret Life of the American Teenager as George Juergens. He also guest-starred as Greg in How I Met Your Mother sporadically. In a recent film role, Derwin played the father of Bartleby Gaines (Justin Long) in Accepted in 2006.
