Adele shot to fame with her 2008 album, 19, soon after graduating high school. It didn’t take long for her debut album to go platinum several times in both the U.S. and United Kingdom. The English singer-songwriter’s next album, 21, came in 2011. It included two of her most well-known songs, “Rolling in the Deep” and “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Adele has not slowed down. Now, the 33-year-old has four studio albums, 18 Grammy nominations, and a songwriting Oscar for her James Bond track, “Skyfall.” The good thing for Adele is that with great success comes the ability to buy awesome homes.

Adele recently bought Sylvester Stallone’s $58 million mansion

Adele has been busy in the world of real estate. In fact, she’s currently in escrow to buy Sylvester Stallone’s massive custom-built estate inside Beverly Park, a super exclusive, gated community in Beverly Hills packed with celebrities. She is paying $58 million for her new home. While that is a fortune to most, Adele is getting quite the deal.

Stallone initially listed the property for $110 million. The Rocky star put his heart into this property. He bought the land for $2.35 million back in 1994 and then built the whole estate from the ground up. TMZ reports that Stallone called his home, “The house that Rocky built.” Adele got a steal of a deal, for sure.

Love By Life reports that Adele’s soon-to-be home is located on 3.5 acres. The Italian Riviera-style residence has eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The main residence is a massive 18,500 square feet and offers panoramic views of the city and valley. There is a two-story foyer, motor court, family room, office, formal living room, and dining room.

A two-story, two-bedroom guest house includes a fully equipped kitchen. For the more luxury-minded people, there is a screening room, gym, cigar room, custom bar, art studio, manicured lawns, and infinity pools. To add to the elegance, there are columns, high ceilings, and ornate light fixtures throughout.

After two Grammy wins in 2009, Adele found the idea of moving to a remote location attractive. So, she bought a huge mansion in Sussex, the Lock House. Ideal Home reports, “The Tudor-Style Lock House was built in 1900. [The previous owners] extended and refurbished the place to create a grander country pile with an Art Deco theme.”

The Lock House includes 13 bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool, and multiple sitting rooms and reception halls. That is not all the mansion came with, according to Adele.

She claims she started hearing things that made her jump and began having a feeling that she was never alone. It was more than enough to creep her out; Adele refused to sleep alone in her house. She was so convinced she had uninvited house guests that she hired a bodyguard to keep her company.

Stallone’s home is not Adele’s first purchase

The NY Post reports that Adele revealed she moved to the LA area because she said she couldn’t afford London. But, Stallone’s estate is not her first rodeo buying property in the area. She bought three other properties over the past five years, estimated to be worth $30 million.

Adele didn’t lack places to live. But she really wanted a larger location. Stallone’s massive and beautiful custom home fit her needs perfectly.
