‘All American’ Season 3 ended on several cliffhangers

In the season 3 finale, numerous plotlines were left unresolved. The biggest cliffhanger was Coop (Bre-Z) getting shot by Mo (Erica Peeples). To avenge Tyrone’s death, Mo wanted to destroy Coop’s future. After getting shot, Coop collages to the ground with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Right now, her fate remains a mystery.

All American fans want to know what happened to Layla (Greta Onieogou). To clarify, Layla’s friend from rehab, Carrie (Anna Lore), slowly becomes obsessed with her. As a result, Carrie has a sinister plan set in place. She impersonates Layla and writes a goodbye letter to her father. Also, she throws Layla’s phone in the garbage. The last scene ends with them driving in a car on the road.

One of the most devastating cliffhangers was Asher’s health diagnosis. Before the state championship game, Asher (Cody Christian) learns about his rare heart condition, called cardiomyopathy. Now, he can no longer play football. In a rage, Asher trashes the entire locker room and bursts into tears. With football entirely off the table, many fans wonder what’s next for the high school athlete.

Lastly, South Crenshaw High and Beverly Hills High finally made it to the state championship. Both teams want to take home the gold. The season 3 finale ends with the opposing teams walking onto the field. All American fans are wondering who will take home the state title. Will Spencer James bring home the trophy for South Crenshaw? Or, will Beverly High win the title for the second year in the row?
