‘The Ides of March’ comes to Amazon Prime Video Feb. 1

Fans of George Clooney and Ryan Gosling will remember this 2011 political thriller. The movie follows a presidential campaign between two candidates and all of the drama that happens among their campaign staffers. After its release, The Ides of March impressed many. It was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 84th Academy Awards and multiple Golden Globe Awards.

‘Moulin Rouge!’ hits the platform in February

Moulin Rouge! is an early 1900s love story told through a jukebox musical format. Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 film is centered around writer Christian (Ewan McGregor) and Satine (Nicole Kidman), and how far the two will go for their forbidden love. Moulin Rouge! won big at the box office and in awards season, bringing home nominations and wins at the Academy Awards, BAFTA Awards, and Golden Globe Awards. A Broadway Musical based on the film opened in New York in July 2019.

‘The Prestige’ will be available to watch on Feb. 1

The Prestige is an exciting 2006 movie directed by Christopher Nolan that showcases two magicians, Robert “The Great Danton” Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred “The Professor” Borden (Christian Bale). During the movie, the pair continue to try to outdo one another in terms of the difficulty of their magic. The results are deathly. Stream on Amazon Prime Video this February.
