Some fans know Lily Rabe as Sister Mary Eunice McKee, others know her as Misty Day. However, this actress actually got her start as a dancer. According to The Richest, Lily Rabe ā€œstudied dance for ten years first. While she was teaching ballet in an arts program in Connecticut, she was asked by an acting instructor to perform a monologue for the final show. She accepted and performed the monologue from the play Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley. Lily says that while she was performing her speech she realized that she wanted to act. She went on to study acting at Northwestern University and the rest is history.ā€

Since then, sheā€™s become one of American Horror Storyā€™s most well-known cast members, starring in almost every season of the series, (besides Cult.) However, Lily Rabe appeared in multiple television shows and movies throughout her career.

Additionally, she appeared as Liz Cheney in the Academy Award-winning film, Vice, and as the title character in the film Miss Stevens. Her other acting credits, according to IMDB, include Weakness, Fractured, No Reservations, A Crime, Pawn Sacrifice, Mona Lisa Smile, and Never Again. Lily Rabe is one of the actors who appears in American Horror Story the most frequently, along with cast members Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters

The actress first appeared on American Horror Story: Murder House as Nora Montgomery, one of the ghosts in the estate. Since then, the actress appeared on almost every season of the series. In Asylum, Rabe portrayed the good-girl-gone-bad Sister Mary Eunice. For Coven and Apocalypse, she portrayed the talented witch and Stevie Nicks super fan, Misty Day.
