Lily Rabe easily stole the show of AHS: 1984’s latest episode. As the “Lady in White,” this character gave fans insight into Mr. Jingles’ tragic and horrific past. However, this isn’t the first time Lily Rabe appeared on American Horror Story. What other shows and television series’ has the actress acted in? Here’s what we know about Lily Rabe.

Before Lily Rabe was an ‘American Horror Story’ actress, she was a dancer

Some fans know Lily Rabe as Sister Mary Eunice McKee, others know her as Misty Day. However, this actress actually got her start as a dancer. According to The Richest, Lily Rabe “studied dance for ten years first. While she was teaching ballet in an arts program in Connecticut, she was asked by an acting instructor to perform a monologue for the final show. She accepted and performed the monologue from the play Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley. Lily says that while she was performing her speech she realized that she wanted to act. She went on to study acting at Northwestern University and the rest is history.”

Since then, she’s become one of American Horror Story’s most well-known cast members, starring in almost every season of the series, (besides Cult.) However, Lily Rabe appeared in multiple television shows and movies throughout her career.

Although this actress starred in the episode entitled “The Lady in White” for AHS: 1984, she also appeared in multiple Emmy-Award winning television series and Academy Award-winning films.

She acted alongside Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst for the drama entitled All Good Things. Additionally, she appeared as Liz Cheney in the Academy Award-winning film, Vice, and as the title character in the film Miss Stevens. Her other acting credits, according to IMDB, include Weakness, Fractured, No Reservations, A Crime, Pawn Sacrifice, Mona Lisa Smile, and Never Again. Perhaps what Lily Rabe is best known for are her varied performances in American Horror Story.

Lily Rabe is one of the actors who appears in American Horror Story the most frequently, along with cast members Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters

The actress first appeared on American Horror Story: Murder House as Nora Montgomery, one of the ghosts in the estate. Since then, the actress appeared on almost every season of the series. In Asylum, Rabe portrayed the good-girl-gone-bad Sister Mary Eunice. For Coven and Apocalypse, she portrayed the talented witch and Stevie Nicks super fan, Misty Day.

Lily Rabe became one of American Horror Story’s steadiest cast members, appearing alongside fan favorites like Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson. Additionally, the actress is a cast member on the most recent season of the horror series, entitled AHS: 1984. She portrayed Mr. Jingles’ emotionally manipulative mother and, most likely, will reappear as the character for the remainder of the season.
