Some fans met the Fab Five when Netflix premiered their Emmy-award winning series, ‘Queer Eye’
He’s the group’s resident fan of The Strokes. The food and wine expert on Netflix’s Emmy-award winning series wins viewers’ hearts with his personality and charm. Since its premiere on Netflix, the Queer Eye members won the hearts of a few other celebrities.
That includes Taylor Swift, who featured a few of the Fab Five members in her music video for “You Need to Calm Down.” One celebrity that is around Antoni Porowski pretty frequently is model Gigi Hadid. The two even celebrate birthdays together.

According to Bustle, “fans first started clamoring over the model’s friendship with the cast back in April, when Hadid attended a birthday dinner for the show’s style guru, [Tan] France. Porowski, the food expert, posted a photo of the celebration on Instagram, and the 23-year-old model can be seen seated directly next to the birthday boy.”
Since then, Antoni Porowski and Tan France have been seen hanging out with the celebrity. (Gigi Hadid even attended the launch of Porowski’s cookbook, Antoni In the Kitchen.) During one interview with PeopleTV, the Fab Five members discussed their friendship with this model. According to the Queer Eye hosts, Hadid is “a great baker” and “a great cook.”
“This is like, really gorgeous. Artist extraordinar-ess. Like, she can like, paint and stuff, and make very gorgeous things with her hands. She’s very talented with her hands… And she’s like, one of the most emotionally intelligent, smart people I’ve ever met, I love her,” Van Ness stated.

Now with a few seasons under its belt, Queer Eye became a favorite of Netflix’s original series. The show won multiple Emmy awards for its cast members and the support of fans for its uplifting message. Because of its popularity, some celebrities made appearances on the show, empowering local heroes.
During one episode, Jonathan Van Ness ice skated with one of his personal heroes — the Olympic gold medalist, Michelle Kwan. For the special season Queer Eye: We’re in Japan, some well-known public figures accompanied the Fab Five. That includes model and actress Kiko Mizuhara, in addition to comedian Naomi Watanabe.
For one episode, LGBTQ+ activist, makeup artist, and Buddhist monk Kodo Nishimura spoke to one of the local heroes, encouraging self-confidence in the face of adversity. Gigi Hadid has yet to appear on this Netflix original series, but fans can dream, right?
