In Are You the One? Season 8 Episode 4, Justin is turned off by Jonathan’s possessiveness and made out with Max in the closet. Therefore, Jonathan began nurturing his connection with Basit, preferred pronouns they or them, and they made him feel extremely comfortable. Also, Amber went on a Getaway Date, and Nour’s jealous side begins to show. Finally, Basit threw a queer prom for the singles so they could relive their high school dance by dressing how they want. Kai and Jenna went on Getaway Date
After knowing Jenna likes cake and using it in a pickup line, Kai went on the group Getaway Date with her. Remy, a single in the house who Kai hooked up with on the first night and made out with Jenna, also joined the manta ray date. Before going, Jenna told Kai she didn’t think they were perfect matches based on the beams. During the date, they privately talked about their relationship, which resulted in a screaming match. Instead of walking away from each other, they began making out and didn’t stop when they got back in the house, as they laid on the floor and continued to kiss.
Kai and Jenna enter the third truth booth
The majority of the house voted Kai and Jenna into the Truth Booth to confirm if they are a perfect match. While some believed it was a waste, others felt like the couple seeing no match on the screen is the only thing that will break them up. While the singles were right, Kai and Jenna were a confirmed no match; they were wrong about the news breaking them up. Immediately after seeing the message flash across the screen, Kai and Jenna began making out in the Truth Booth.
Although Nour comforted Kai and Remy and Basit attempted to uplift Jenna, the two ended up together in the Boom Boom Room that night. The next morning, Remy, who wants to get to know Jenna, saw the no match couple cuddled up together, and he called them out. However, they admitted in the confessional that “feelings are feelings,” and it will be hard to quit each other.
Who does everyone pick at the third Matchup Ceremony?
Jonathan selected his potential match first, and he surprisingly chose Brandon. The night before at their queer prom, Jonathan and Basit had a breakthrough in their relationship. Not only did Jonathan admit they could be perfect matches, but they shared a kiss in the confessional. Jonathan’s reasoning for picking Brandon is because he has a great body. Therefore, he thinks Brandon will put the same effort he does in working out into their relationship. Up next is Aasha, and she enjoyed the three-way kiss she had with Max and Justin, so she picked Max. She also thinks he’s a loving guy and has the qualities she wants in a partner.
Paige had a great time on her date with Amber, even though she didn’t get a kiss, and chose her at the Matchup Ceremony. Amber also said she would have picked Paige because she and Nour are on a break. Kai picked Danny, Jenna selected Justin, Remy chose Basit, and Kylie and Kari sat together again for their third straight ceremony. Therefore, Jasmine and Nour were left, and they partnered together. For the third time in a row, the house received two beams, signifying the two perfect matches that sat together.
