Is Ariana Grande okay?

Grande took to Instagram Stories to share what she’s going through and it sounds like she’s dealing with something serious, as she explained that she’s been sick “over three weeks at this point.”

She shared with fans: “Hi my loves, so I’m still very sick. I’ve been sick since the last London show. I don’t know how it’s possible but my throat and head are still in so much pain. I sound okay I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show. I am seeing my doctor and trying my v best to get better for tomorrow’s show.”

She continued, “The last thing I would ever want to do is cancel a show at this point with so few left. I’m truly cherishing every moment of this… I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out.”

“Please take this as a gentle heads up,” she noted, adding, “I don’t want anyone to feel blindsided tomorrow if god forbid I can’t make the show happen. I’m on all the meds. Getting IV drips, doing everything I possibly can to pull through. Mom and friends are taking good care of me. Just a scary feeling. Love you with all my heart and will keep you posted.”

How sick is Grande?

Grande posted multiple videos to help explain more of what she’s experiencing with her health.

She shared “a quick health update,” explaining, “I’ve been coughing and had this like crazy sinus infection thing that has not gone away for a really long time. I haven’t been able to really get better.” She added that her “head was really splitting and heavy and my glands really hurt and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on.”

She continued: “I’m scared that I might have to cancel some things, so this is kind just a heads up of like I don’t know what’s happening with my body, and I’m really disappointed and freaked out of why I can’t get better because it’s been over three weeks at this point.”

Grande added: “I’m going to cherish these memories with you guys because they’re really beautiful and that’s why I’m really mad I can’t get better because I really don’t want to cancel anything because I’m really cherishing all these last moments together. I love you.”

The singer continued to keep her fans in the loop, giving an update that she “still can’t swallow or lift my head” and noting that she’s “medicated af and hoping to wake up better.”

She noted that she would be seeing the doctor again and giving another update about the show, noting, “it’s catching up to me I guess.”

Grande also apologized for “the anxious updates and for over sharing,” explaining, “I just don’t want anyone not aware of what’s going on ahead of time.”

She noted: “You know I push through and hide things as often as I can/ as well as I can when sick and wouldn’t say something unless it were really tough.”

Her fans were very concerned about her and sent out their well wishes with the #GetWellSoonAriana hashtag on Twitter. Many explained their understanding that her health should be her priority.

One fan tweeted: “i hope you feel better soon, i know you don’t want to cancel any upcoming shows but if you need to we completely understand. your health comes first and we’d rather see you comfortable and well during a show than forcing yourself through pain. i love u.”
