Thomas Middleditch
Thomas Middleditch plays the role of Drew Dunbar. His character needs a kidney transplant after he begins to go into renal failure.
Middleditch made his television acting debut in 2008 in the series The Line. The following year, he made his film debut in the movie The Rebound. He played the role of Maverick. In 2010, Middleditch became a cast regular on CollegeHumor Originals. He remained on the show until 2013.
Middleditch is best known for playing Richard Hendricks on Silicon Valley from 2014 to 2019. He’s also known for his appearances in You’re the Worst, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and The Morning After.
Annaleigh Ashford
Annaleigh Ashford plays the role of Gina, Drew’s former high school acquaintance. Gina agreed to be Drew’s kidney donor after they reunite at a friend’s wedding. The only problem is, Gina takes drugs and drinks alcohol. The challenge for her will be staying sober for at least three months before the operation.
Ashford made her acting debut in Legally Blonde: The Musical. In 2008, she appeared in an episode of Sex and the City. Ashford made her film debut that same year in the movie Rachel Getting Married, in which she played a cashier.
In 2013, she joined the cast of Masters of Sex, in which she played the character Betty Dimello. She remained in that role until 2016. Ashford is also known for her appearances in Younger, God Friended Me, and Submissions Only.
Sara Rue
Sara Rue plays the role of Julia, Drew’s ex-wife. Rue made her acting debut in the movie Rock Gibraltar, in which she played the role of Jessica Hanson. In 1990, she joined the cast of Grand. She played the role of Edda Pasetti for 26 episodes. Rue is also known for her appearances in Phenom, Minor Adjustments, and Popular.
Izzy G.
Izzy G. plays Maddie, Drew’s daughter. Drew is having a tough time connecting to Maddie. She’s still upset about the divorce and is taking it out on her dad. Her favorite thing to say is that her dad is “weird.”
Izzy G. made her acting debut in the 2014 movie After, in which she played baby Chloe. In 2019, she appeared in the film The Highwaymen. She landed her first recurring role in the series AJ and the Queen, in which she played the character AJ Douglas.
Kether Donohue
Kether Donohue plays Gabby, Gina’s friend and co-worker. Donohue made her acting debut in 1997 in the series King of the Braves GaoGaiGar. She played the character Reiko Komori for 25 episodes.
In 2002, Donohue went on to appear in Piano: The Melody of a Young Girl’s Heart. She is also known for her appearances in Kappa Mikey and You’re the Worst.
Terrence Terrell
Terrence Terrell plays Eli, a former football player and one of Drews dialysis buddies. Terrell made his acting debut in the 2010 short film Menages. In 2013, he appeared in an episode of The Mindy Project, in which he played a triathlon winner. Terrell is also known for his appearances in Bigger, The FirstWives Club, and Giants.
