The contestants get a second (or third) chance at love on Bachelor in Paradise. But even after going on the summer show, some of them don’t get a happy ending.

Demi Burnett was an immediate favorite from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. Her feisty attitude and ability to always say what was on her mind was enough to solidify her place in the hearts of America. When she went on Bachelor in Paradise, fans rooted her on as she and her girlfriend Kristian Haggerty grew closer and got engaged. But months after Paradise ended, the two broke off their engagement. Now, Burnett is dating someone new.

Burnett made Bachelor history by coming out as bisexual and then dating a woman on the show. Fans rallied behind her as she chose to be with Haggerty and proposed to her. Unfortunately, after Paradise ended, the two could not keep the romance alive.

“What has always been at the forefront of our relationship is love and care for one another,” Burnett wrote under a photo of her and Haggerty, announcing the breakup. “Our priority is doing what is best for us. With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship. We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually.”

Bachelor Nation wants Demi Burnett as the Bachelorette

Following her breakup and the complete insanity of Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, fans began calling for Burnett to be the first bisexual Bachelorette.

People began to worry that wouldn’t happen after Burnett was spotted leaving former Bachelor Nick Viall’s house. But Viall denied that anything was going on between them.

“Demi is a close friend, a dear friend,” he said on his podcast, The Viall Files. “We’ve become close, and I care very much about her.”

“Demi has in fact been to my place, as sometimes friends do go to each other’s places.”

But apparently, it was actually another guy that Burnett fans needed to be focusing on.

Who is Demi Burnett’s new boyfriend?

Burnett went from being a single woman to in full-on Instagram official relationship out of nowhere.

She first introduced her boyfriend to her Instagram with a sponsored post for Glam Glow. She posted a photo of herself and artist Slater Davis posing in mud masks but did not reveal who he was.

Days later, she posted a photo of herself sharing food with Davis, saying he was the present she never knew she needed and since then she has been posting quite racy photos with Davis.

According to his website, Slater is an alternative/indie singer, living in Los Angeles. He’s also a pretty avid Tic-Toker.

Neither one has spoken about their relationship or revealed how they met, but the two look extremely happy together so far.
