‘Bachelor’ Couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick Plan On Getting Engaged Within A Year
Bachelor fans’ favorite couple, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick, aren’t exactly taking their time when it comes to the pace of their relationship. After six months of dating, the couple moved in together and, shortly after, adopted a sweet little rescue pup named Ramen Noodle (Noods for short).
Because their love is so admired, fans are wondering when they’ll just go ahead and tie the knot already.
When Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick plan on getting engaged
“I think I can speak for Kaitlyn,” Tartick recently told E! News. “I think Kaitlyn has an expectation within a year.”
Kaitlyn added: “I don’t have an expectation. I don’t expect anything. I just think on the path that we’re on, it would make sense that this is the next step. And moving in, we have the confidence in our relationship. We just rescued a dog together so that just feels like the next step in our relationship.”
Tartick says that part of the reason he and Bristowe work so well together is because they’re always on the same page.
“We’re on the same page. We know what we want out of this relationship,” Jason explained. “The next step is moving in together. We then threw in a little curveball and rescued a dog so we’re doing a crash course and all the stars are aligning for sooner rather than later.”
Will Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick televise their wedding?
Bachelor fans are, of course, hoping for a televised wedding. Bristowe and Tartick certainly wouldn’t be the first franchise couple to share their wedding will all of America. But Bristowe doesn’t see their ceremony “being a televised wedding” or “doing it on one of the shows.”
She knows fans are invested in their relationship, and she says they plan on sharing a lot of their big day but, as of now, televising their wedding would be a bit much.
“We want to share things with [fans] but I think I want it a little more private,” said Bristowe.
Tartick went on to say that they both prioritize friends and family, so they want their special day to have a sense of intimacy (and be a ton of fun).
“There’s just nothing more important to me than family and friends and just making sure that all the most important people to us in the world that have put us in the position that we are in today are there to share that special day. I just get goosebumps thinking about it. I think in typical Kaitlyn and Jason fashion, I would imagine a wedding of a lot of fun, parting, singing, dancing, eating, open bar, top shelf,” he said.
As for after the wedding, the couple has already discussed having kids (Tartick wants two dogs and three kids and Bristowe would be happy with one or two). In the meantime, their new pup Ramen is helping to minimize the baby fever.
“I’ve had baby fever for like the last 10 years of my life so this is definitely cooling that fever down a little bit,” Bristowe admitted after describing all the attention Ramen needs. “It’s just that we have so much going on that babies and a family is obviously part of the conversation, but we’re like when would we even have time to do this? I mean he’s got to put a ring on it first too.”
