The secret’s out — The Bachelor’s Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are quarantining together in Chicago during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Recently, Weber has been making the media rounds to discuss his grand finale from March 10 and update fans on his relationship with Flanagan. Then on Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s Almost Famous podcast from April 7, Weber was asked whether he would move to Chicago when he’s ready to leave his parents’ house. And he didn’t exactly say no.

Are Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan dating after ‘The Bachelor’?

When speaking with Higgins and Iaconetti, Weber explained his decision to quarantine in Chicago. After reconnecting in LA, Weber supported Flanagan through a family issue. So the former bachelor decided to fly out to the tax attorney’s hometown. This also happened around the same time as the stay at home order, and Weber turned Flanagan’s house into his “home base.”

“On top of that, I realized it’s kind of smart to do because my parents are still in their 60s,” Weber said. “I still live at home … obviously, I have to fly still. I’m an essential worker. So I didn’t want to risk bringing something home to them. So this was the place to be.”

Then Weber answered the big question. “Are we dating? No,” he said. “I am the first person to admit that I have been through so much. The emotional rollercoaster of all rollercoasters. And the last thing I need to do is to jump into another relationship. I just was engaged a couple of weeks ago and figuring out another relationship.”

He continued: “But Kelley’s just been someone that’s been there for me. And that’s just something I really appreciate. I’m trying to be there for her. We get along really well and have really good chemistry. Who knows what the future holds? I’m not saying nothing could happen. But right now, just taking things slow and enjoying each other’s time.”

Later in the Almost Famous podcast, Iaconetti had some fun with Weber and Flanagan, asking a few lighthearted questions. Then the Bachelor in Paradise alum want to know whether Weber would consider Chicago his permanent home base once he moves out of his parents’ house.

At first, Weber didn’t answer. He laughed and pondered on the idea. “Honestly, I’ve always thought New York or LA,” Weber said. “I don’t know, who knows? Chicago’s kind of similar to New York. So we’ll see.”

While it would be interesting to see Weber move out to the Midwest, his previous remarks tell us his relationship with Flanagan isn’t at that point yet. But regardless, the former bachelor has recently shared plans to leave the nest soon.

In an Instagram Story on March 20, Weber answered a fan who asked the 28-year-old, “Any plans to not live at home?”

Then in response, Weber sang Jon Denver’s “Leaving on a Jet Plane” while walking out of his parents’ California home. His parents also poked fun at him. “Don’t let the door hit you on your way out,” Peter Sr. said as Barb added, “We’re empty nesters.”

Meanwhile, Weber gave his real answer in the text, noting he doesn’t know where he plans to live just yet. “But real talk yes, either NYC for about a year or LA,” Weber wrote.
