So when Crawley exits the show, Adams will become the new headliner.

What happened to Tayshia Adams and Colton Underwood on ‘The Bachelor’?

Adams was first introduced to Bachelor Nation during Underwood’s season. She was a clear fan-favorite and even made it to the top three with Hannah Godwin and Cassie Randolph. But Underwood jumped the fence and quit the show for Randolph.

Even so, Adams didn’t regret her experience or her relationship with Underwood on The Bachelor

“Thankful. Since the moment I stepped into the Mansion, to being greeted so warmly on stage last night, the one true emotion I have felt throughout this journey is Thankful,” Adams wrote on Instagram after the finale in March 2019. “I came into this experience having had my heart broken in the past, and only letting the closest ones to me in on what happened. So it was tough for me to go into this journey of looking for love again.”

She added, “But looking back, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have proven to myself that I have a lot to offer, I do deserve to be happy, in love, and to have someone fight for me. And although it wasn’t me at the end, I walk away from this experience choosing ME.”

What happened to Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?

After Adams left Underwood and The Bachelor behind, she met Jones on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. Adams and Jones hit it off on the summer spinoff. Jones even gifted the newly crowned bachelorette with a Paradise prom. But Jones and Adams didn’t get engaged and decided to go their separate ways. They also briefly got back together by the BIP reunion special. Though they split in October 2019.

“The reality was, we were living on opposite coasts, and working insane schedules that made it impossible to see each other and build a life with each other,” Adams said of her breakup with Jones on Instagram. “We truly did the best we could, but at this time have decided that what is best for the both of us is to go our separate ways.”

She continued, “We are the best of friends and will continue to remain in each other’s life because regardless of the situation, we make each other happy.”
