‘Baywatch’: Pamela Anderson Said ‘Everybody Was Having Sex’ With Each Other Behind the Scenes

Being one of the sexiest shows on TV back in the 1990s, of course, Baywatch had its fair share of romantic plotlines throughout its eleven season run. But it turns out that things weren’t just getting hot and heavy between the cast members on-screen.

Baywatch is iconic for many of reasons. Not only did it have some seriously hot stars who showcased their fit figured in red swimsuits, but it also introduced those amazing beachy montages we all love so much.

In addition to all of that, the hit series was also one of the most popular shows in the 1990s, bringing in a record-breaking 1.1 billion worldwide weekly viewers in 140 countries, according to Decider.

But the show’s beach lifestyle plotline and its attractive stars weren’t the only things that kept viewers tuning in each week. Many fans enjoyed watching the series cover real-life conflicts and shine a light on the on-screen romances that took place each season.

Like many other hit shows, several of Baywatch’s on-screen relationships and flings have translated to real-life, which several cast members have opened up about over the years.

In 2003, Pamela Anderson, who famously played CJ Parker on the show, admitted to there being plenty of steamy off-set action between cast members during a documentary titled Life After Baywatch.

“Oh everybody was having sex everywhere,” she said, per Metro U.K. “In the trailers, behind the trailers around the trailers. I think I slept with everybody at least once.”

In addition to Anderson, actor Gena Lee Nolin, who played Neely Capshaw on the lifeguarding series, has also confirmed the show’s off-set hook-ups.

While appearing on the ITV series Where Are They Now? The Reunions, Nolin said that after joining the show in 1995, she soon learned not to burst in on any of her castmates while they were in their trailers.

“I learned quickly, because this was my first acting gig. If the trailer is a rockin’ don’t come a knockin,” she said.

David Chokachi, who played Cody Madison, also opened up about the numerous off-screen hook-ups, saying that filming on the beach every day while wearing swimsuits sparked plenty of passion.

“We’re on the beach we’re naked, we’re around each other all day,” he shared. “It’s like sun and ocean, it triggers a lot of stuff.”

Baywatch aired from 1989 to 2001, and on-screen chemistry translated into off-screen passion for many of its stars.

Yasmine Bleeth (Caroline Holden) and Jaason Simmons (Logan Fowler) and Erika Eleniak (Shauni McClain) and Billy Warlock ( Eddie Kramer) are just some of the on-screen couples who ended up together in real life at some point during filming.

Needless to say that things were just as steamy off-screen as they were when the cameras were rolling.
