OnlyFans is a subscription service where artists themselves can set their rates and share content. Some use it to share exclusive, explicit content. Cardi B discussed using OnlyFans to respond to rumors and possibly teach her fans how to clean their bathrooms. Thorne gave Paper Magazine an interview about her plans for her OnlyFans channel. Here’s more info about Thorne’s plans for OnlyFans.

Bella Thorne in the spotlight

Thorne played CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up from 2010 – 2013. Prior to that she had established herself on shows like Dirty Sexy Money, My Own Worst Enemy and Big Love

After Shake It Up, Thorne continued her career in family movies like Blended, The Duff and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day while her music career took off too. Thorne’s roles got a tad edgier in Scream: The TV Series, Assassination Nation and her TV series Famous In Love. Her latest movie, Infamous, is about a pair of teenage criminals on social media.

Bella Thorne controversial on social media

Thorne has tried to use her platform to discuss relevant issues like body shaming and beauty standards. Sometimes her posts have been controversial, either with her own fans or with the media itself.

Thorne came under fire for Halloween makeup that some fans thought inappropriately portrayed victims of spousal abuse. Her promotion of the Flat Tummy App garnered more criticism for suggesting she was promoting thinness.

When a hacker threatened to leak nude selfies of Thorne, she took control of the narrative and leaked them herself. Thorne also refused to shave her legs to conform to fans’ and society’s beauty standards. She also criticed Extra for blurring her nipples in an interview to promote Famous In Love.

Addressing the issues like Cardi B

Thorne has a lot on her mind, and now she feels regular social media can’t contain it. She’s tired of dealing with the haters, and authorities deciding what she can and can’t say or show. On OnlyFans, the channel will be pure Thorne.

“OnlyFans is the first platform where I can fully control my image; without censorship, without judgement, and without being bullied online for being me,” Thorne told Paper.
