‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 6: Why Is Katie Flood’s Face Inked on Jack Stirrup’s Arm (and Who ‘Hooked up’ With Sailing Yacht’s Georgia Grobler)?
Who knew? Jack Stirrup from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 and chief stew Katie Flood from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 used to date and Stirrup has Flood’s face inked on his arm.
Flood shared a clip from the upcoming season where she shared that she and Stirrup used to date. “Do I know any previous Below Deck yachties?” Flood asked in a confessional. “Yeah. My ex-boyfriend! Jack Stirrup. You might recognize me from Below Deck Med Season 4. As the girl on his arm.” But wait, Flood and Stirrup aren’t the only yachties who had a romance.
Mzi “Zee” Dempers from ‘Below Deck Med’ got cozy with Georgia Grobler from ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’
Deckhand Mzi “Zee” Dempers revealed he had a romance with Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Georgia Grobler. “Georgia … we hooked up for a while,” Dempers said in the clip. “She’s cool. She’s cool.” Indeed, Dempers posted a photo looking pretty cozy with Grobler on Instagram. “Paradise Found,” he captioned the 2018 image.
Grobler shared the same photo on Instagram with a different caption. “Trouble with a capital Z,” she commented. Grobler shared another photo with Dempers at a formal event. “T For Trouble, 5 For Change,” she wrote. Dempers also participated in Grobler’s “beer Olympics” in another photo. Grobler ended up pining for first mate Paget Berry during Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1. At the time, Berry was in a relationship with Ciara Duggan. Duggan and Berry have since broken up.
While they didn’t have a romantic connection, Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 stew Courtney Veale knew Travis Michalzik from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4. And David Pascoe from Below Deck Med Season 6 knows Josiah Carter from Below Deck Season 6 because they grew up in the same area.
Jack Stirrup dated Aesha Scott during ‘Below Deck Med’ Season 4
Aesha Scott from Below Deck Med Seasons 4 and 5 dated Stirrup when they worked together on season 4. Scott recently recalled one quality she loved about Stirrup when they were together. “I will say though one thing that I did really love about Jack is every time João [Franco] made comments about me, Jack always stood up for me,” Scott recalled on the Dear Diary, You’re Effed podcast.
And while Stirrup and Scott’s boatmance was relatively sweet and drama-free, their drama started when cameras stopped rolling. They left the boat together and Scott thought the two would continue to date. However, Stirrup returned to his girlfriend when he returned home, but didn’t share that information with Scott.
Scott found out Stirrup returned to his girlfriend via Instagram. “I found out through her messaging me saying, ‘Can you stop *******,’” she said. “I promise everyone it was completely genuine, it was just that he is a young boy at heart and he freaked out and ran home and ran to what he was familiar with,” she insisted. “Because you leave the boat and all of a sudden you have a girlfriend. You are doing long distance from New Zealand. Instead of discussing it with me, he just freaked out and ran to what he knew.”
