Celebrities are talking about their experiences isolating and distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. Bethenny Frankel is currently away from her boyfriend, Paul Bernon. But they’re working together to provide help to families during this time. Find out about Frankel’s initiative and more about their relationship.

Bethenny Frankel is dating Paul Bernon

The former Real Housewives of New York star has been dating the film producer for over a year now. She gave an update on their relationship to People around their anniversary.

“He’s a good person who I love,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s a yin to my yang, but he’s really relaxed, he’s mellow and he’s very, very funny.”

She also talked about the other people in their lives. “He has a really nice family too; I’m very close to them,” she said.

Frankel decided to leave reality television. She recently announced she is getting a new show called Big Shot.

Frankel is working on providing kits to people to address the pandemic in multiple cities. The kits reportedly include sanitation wipes, gloves, SOS Hydration. “We are assembling 20,000 kits right now,” she told CBS

“I didn’t think that bstrong would be involved in corona, because we’re more about disaster relief. This quickly became a disaster,” she said. The initiative raised $63,000 for cash cards that could be used for lunches for children.

“We’re working with probably about 80,000 New York PTA moms,” she said regarding getting the cards to children who need them. “So, we’re starting with New York… and then we’re going to try to hit 20 to 30 states,” she said.

Frankel says they are away from each other

Frankel talked about being away from Bernon while social distancing. She says they are still working together through bstrong.

“Paul is in Boston and I debated going to him last night but I feel — and I’ve told all my friends and I’ve given the advice based on lockdowns and being near your kids — we need to be at home where we feel the safest and the most comfortable,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Anxieties are at a high and I need to do my own routine and I need to be closest to my child and I need to have my backyard and my dogs and my things I can touch.”

She continued, “He’s working on helping me with Mass General and Boston efforts, and what’s interesting is we’re not together but this has brought us closer than ever.”

The former reality star gave some advice to other people during this hard time. “I’m actually good in a crisis so you just sort of have to collect yourself. And it’s hard for parents who have kids at home and are on top of each other and on top of their spouses,” she said. “Find your own separate time, do a puzzle, read. I’m doing dances with my daughter. We’re learning different dances together and we’re talking about music and doing breathing exercises together.”
