Better Call Saul Season 6 returns for part 2 on July 11. These will be the final episodes of the series, wrapping up Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman. Although Better Call Saul is a prequel series, there are still some very important questions that need answers. The creative minds behind the series aren’t giving much away. A teaser for ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 Part 2 shows Kim Wexler reciting an oath

A teaser posted on Better Call Saul‘s official Twitter shows the flickering candle from Jimmy and Kim’s living room. Over the image, Kim’s voice can be heard reading what sounds like a version of an attorney’s oath. Pete Peppers points out that the candle is now splattered with Howard Hamlin’s blood from his death in episode 7.

He also suggests that the show could return with a flashback to Kim Wexler’s early career when she first became a lawyer. This could be why the voiceover displays Kim taking an oath. The later seasons of Better Call Saul have very slowly given glimpses of Kim’s past.

With this in mind, it’s definitely possible that part 2 will take fans back to an important day for her, such as when she first became a lawyer. Pete Peppers also suggest it could indicate that Kim has a new job and is practicing law outside of New Mexico.

Will there be a happy ending for Jimmy and Kim?

One of the most ominous teasers for Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 2 aired right after episode 7. The clip shows Jimmy and Kim’s living room in black and white. Jimmy’s voiceover states, “So, after all that, a happy ending.” Each season premiere of Better Call Saul (besides season 6) has included a black and white flashback to Gene Takovic’s life.

Since this teaser is black and white, it may hint that the “happy ending” is referencing Gene’s timeline. Pete Peppers points out that the living room in the teaser looks clean and empty. It is absent of Howard’s blood, which was all over the living room floor in episode 7.

He also suggests that this line could be some form of Jimmy saying goodbye to Kim. Although Jimmy would be sad to say be apart from Kim, he may consider it a “happy ending” if he knows she will be safe and happy. There’s definitely a touch of sadness to the voiceover.

Other teasers worth noting

There are two other teasers for Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 2 that are worth noting. One teaser shows Gus Fring’s underground lab. The lights shut off, and Mike’s voiceover can be heard saying, “Now, what to do with you?” Fans on Twitter suggested several possible theories.

The first is that Mike could be referencing Howard’s body. In Breaking Bad, he disposed of Jane’s body, so he could do the same in Better Call Saul. Some fans also think Mike could be referring to Lalo. A popular theory exists that Lalo will die and his body ends up buried under Gus’ superlab.

A final teaser worth mentioning shows a row of Saul’s suits swinging by on a clothes rack. The last outfit that appears is Gene Takovic’s Cinnabon uniform. There likely isn’t much to derive from this particular teaser, but we know from Bob Odenkirk’s interview with AMC that Gene will make another appearance before the season ends.
