Four years after their first whirlwind tour together, Beyoncé and JAY- Z have embarked on their second musical adventure with On the Run II. Though the pair has yet to release any new music, many fans are speculating that a joint album is in the works, which could be released just before or soon after their tour begins.
Things have changed for the music superstar and the hip-hop mogul since their first tour together. Along with their eldest daughter Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and JAY- Z also have baby twins, a girl, Rumi and a boy, Sir.
During the four-month-long tour, the musical couple is packing up their kiddos and bringing them along. Here’s an inside look at the Knowles/Carter’s epic family life on tour.
Love and understanding
Though Beyoncé and JAY- Z are notoriously private, their two most recent albums, Beyoncé’s Lemonade and JAY- Z’s 4:44 both discussed discord, pain and infidelity in their marriage and how they worked through it to build a stronger relationship. For the couple, On the Run II is about showing their love for each other, their family, and their fans.
Bey and Jay are in the best place of their lives right now. They have been in talks about doing another joint tour. Forget the money; their tour is mainly for them to showcase to their fans the power of love and understanding within a relationship. Jay has witnessed Beyoncé come into her own as a woman, and Bey has helped Jay transform into a man far removed from his “Big Pimpin” days.

A tour for the ages
On their first On the Run tour back in 2014, Beyoncé and JAY- Z shared never-before-seen personal footage from their personal files. On the Run II is even more intimate.
A source revealed to Hollywood Life, “So, what you’ll see on this tour is growth and collaboration since that’s what love is. Beyoncé really wants this tour to be a culmination of all their ups and downs, and the set list and set design will certainly reflect that wave of emotion from when they were younger to where they stand today.”

Setting the scene
Beyoncé and JAY- Z were recently spotted on the stunning island of Jamacia filming a video. In some photos, they were riding motorcycles and in others, they were lavishly dressed and lounging on the beach.
It seems this footage is part of the aesthetic for On the Run II. We suppose we’ll have to grab tickets to find out for sure.
Next: Spending quality time
Though Sir and Rumi have rarely been seen since their birth in June 2017, Blue Ivy is always out and about with her parents. She has been seen with her mom shopping at Target and attending awards shows and events.
Recently, the soon-to-be first grader tried to outbid director Tyler Perry for an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier. Not even her hip-hop mogul father could stop her.
With such hilarious antics, it’s no wonder Beyoncé and JAY- Z are thrilled to bring her along on tour.

All hands on deck
While Blue Ivy is elementary school age with a massive personality who can obviously entertain herself, Beyoncé and JAY- Z are enlisting help to make sure that her needs, as well as the needs of Sir and Rumi, are met while they’re working on the tour.
A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Blue Ivy and the twins have a team of nannies working for them. They have people around the clock.”

All eyes on Blue Ivy
Though we’re sure Blue Ivy will be having an amazing summer vacation while her parents work, rumor has it that she may join them on stage at some point during the tour.
An insider revealed to Hollywood Life, “It’s all very preliminary, but don’t be surprised if at some point you see Blue called upon to sing with her parents.”
Next: Blue’s Freestyle
A legendary catalog
If Blue Ivy does decide to join her famous parents on stage, she already has several bars of her own to choose from. On the 4:44 bonus tracked entitled “Blue’s Freestyle / We Family,” the tiny fashionista rapped, “Everything everything, this my only single thing. Never seen a ceiling in my whole life.” She also included an iconic adlib, “boomshakalaka.”
Whether we see Blue Ivy on stage or not this summer, we’re sure the Target lover along with her brother and sister will be having a thrilling time traveling around the globe with their parents.
