Beyoncé isn’t ready to deliver her long-awaited seventh studio album just yet, but she still has something special coming for her fans.

The Lemonade singer announced on Monday, Oct. 19 that her beloved activewear line, Ivy Park, will soon launch its second collection with fellow sportswear brand Adidas. The news prompted a storm of excitement, as fans were thrilled to learn that new items are (finally) on the way.

What is Ivy Park?

Ivy Park is a brand that launched in 2016 as a collaboration between Beyoncé and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green. However, Beyoncé has since become the sole owner after buying out Green’s share following his misconduct allegations (which he denies), per The Guardian.

Later, she relaunched the line as a collaboration with Adidas. The first collection came out in January 2020 and featured a variety of items that followed a maroon, solar orange, and cream color palette. Among the merchandise were sneakers, jumpsuits, hoodies, cargo pants, tops, hoodies, dresses, and more.

“This new line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power,” Beyoncé told Elle at the time. “I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear and apparel because I saw so many men in IVY PARK. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules.”

The line attracted the attention of everyone from Kim Kardashian West and Reese Witherspoon to Cardi B and Diplo. It appeared that almost immediately after its release, the collection had also sold out.

Beyoncé will release more Ivy Park x Adidas items in 2020

Ever since the first collection launched, fans who weren’t able to get their hands on any merchandise have been clamoring for more. Luckily, they’ll get a chance later in October when Beyoncé releases the next Ivy Park x Adidas collection.

She broke the news on her Instagram page with a short and simple message that reads, “THIS IS MY PARK.” Captioning the image, she wrote: “DRIP 2 October 30.”

She did not reveal any designs or styles. However, the sneaker website Kicks On Fire previously reported that the line will include “Beyhive-approved renditions” of classic Adidas sneakers, including the Ultra Boost OG and the Sleek Super 72.

Even celebrities can’t wait to get their hands on some of the gear.
