Julie Chen Moonves teased ‘Big Brother 24’ in a recent photo

On May 20, television personality and host Julie Chen Moonves posted a cryptic picture outside the Big Brother house.

The photograph is taken downward, showing the bright pink steps, Fuschia-colored windows, and the floor leading to it.

Additionally, Moonves is barely visible as the picture includes her from the knees down, showing off the bottom of her floral print dress and matching high heels. The house’s colors seemingly differ from Big Brother 23, which didn’t include red, and Celebrity Big Brother 3 as it incorporated its usual blue theme.

Moonves simply captioned it, “TGIF so shiny,” with a heart-eye emoji. Viewers then responded to her cryptic post, hoping for more answers. In a follow-up tweet, the host asked, “what do you all want to know?” However, she didn’t reply to anyone.

Viewers last watched ‘Big Brother’ in January 2022

Fans last got their Big Brother fix in January 2022 with Celebrity Big Brother 3. The house included a Ski-lodge theme, and the Head of Household room reassembled an Ice palace.

Consisting of one of the oldest casts, one houseguest, comedian Chris Kattan, quit the game after 15 days as he wanted to contact his family.

It also featured controversial gameplay by runner-up Todrick Hall due to “slut-shaming” comments about model Shanna Moakler and mean-spirited remarks toward Chris Kirkpatrick when he went against their plan.

Therefore, he received a lot of backlashes. He has since opened up about his experience, admitting he had regrets but still is “proud” of his gameplay. Regarding the controversy surrounding Shanna, he believes “open moments” in the Live Feeds have led viewers to “try to fill in the blanks of what happened during that time with information.”

Xavier Prather is the most recent winner of ‘Big Brother’

Many viewers already thought Todrick would appear on CBB3 due to his ties with The Cookout alliance from Big Brother 23.

The dominant group was formed in the first week to have the first-ever Black winner of the original franchise. Consisting of Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, Kyland Young, Azah Awasum, runner-up Derek Frazier, and winner Xavier Prather, they hid their affiliation by teaming up with non-members.

Even though they steamrolled the competition and are viewed as one of the greatest alliances, it drew criticism from fans who felt the season was boring and predictable. Additionally, some believed the votes were only based on race. However, their mission succeeded as Xavier unanimously became the first Black winner.

Following their win and support from the community, almost all The Cookout members except for Xavier spent a lot of time at Todrick’s Los Angeles-based mansion. Therefore, fans correctly assumed they would see the entertainer in Celebrity Big Brother Season 3. Big Brother 24 likely premiere in the summer of 2022 on CBS.
