‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 13 Recap: Where is Scarlet?

When Big Sky Season 2 Episode 13 opens, Jenny informs Cassie that she finally killed Ronald in the March 17 episode. However, the trouble is far from over. Scarlet Leyendecker (Anja Savcic) and Phoebe (Zoë Noelle Baker) are on the run. Thankfully Mark Lindor (Omar Metwally) is going to be OK despite his injuries. The syndicate has Wolf in an ambulance and wants to know where Scarlet is. When Wolf can’t give any information on Scarlet, the man puts a plastic bag over his head and says, “John Milton sends his regards.” Is Wolf dead?

‘Big Sky’: Who is John Milton?

The last time viewers saw John Milton was in the Big Sky Season 1 finale. Before officers took Ronald into custody, he told Scarlet to search for “John Milton on the hard drive in their bathroom. After performing the search, a rogue Montana state trooper appeared at her house. He got her ready to leave and took her to meet Ronald. He’s part of the syndicate, and it looks like he is on Ronald’s side.

In Big Sky Season 2 Episode 13, “The Shipping News” title relates to the Bhullar family and their new cartel operation in Montana. Tonya (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) continues to manage the truckers for the new business. Ren (Janina Gavankar) and Jag (Vinny Chhibber) become suspicious of what their father, Veer Bhullar (Bernard White), is hiding. So, they continue to look for dirt on their father’s new love interest, Alicia (Constance Zimmer).

Travis arrives to Ren with the bag of money, finally. Then Ren sends Travis to help Tonya and Donno (Ryan O’Nan) with the first shipment. Although Tonya has everything handled, Bob (Alex Knight) is watching when the two truck drivers take their first shipments of drugs. He stops one of the truckers, shoots him, and takes the drugs. Donno tries to give Tonya advice, but there’s no way to break the news easily to Ren.

Later, Deitrich (David Meunier) confides in Travis about a meeting he’s heading to with Veer Bhullar. At the meeting, Veer insists that Jag beat up Dietrich, not his enforcer, Dhruv (Jinder Mahal).

During a pie date, Ren asks Alicia about how she met her father. Alicia insists sparks flew between the pair and doesn’t give up any other information. When Ren brings up their business in Canada, Alicia suggests she ask Veer. So, Ren asks her father about why they are leaving Canada. He won’t give a straight answer.

‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 13 Recap: Travis is in trouble

Deputy Poppernak (J. Anthony Pena) and Jenny arrive to the scene of Bob’s basement. Although Jenny tells the team not to touch anything, but one officer moves the arm of a dummy, which detonates a bomb. Two officers die and Poppernak ends up in the hospital. Later, Jenny and Travis confront Dietrich about Bob and the truck. Moments after they leave the bar, Bob shows up. The two plan to sell the drugs together. However, Dietrich double-crossed Bob and sold him out to the Bhullars. In an attempt to save himself, Bob tells Ren that Stone is a cop before she kills him. He pleads his case and then stabs a knife into Bob to prove that he’s not a cop.

Travis’s handler, Lila Dodge, visits Jenny looking for more information about him in the last few minutes of the episode. She suggests they have a drink together because they have a lot to discuss. The handler insists that Travis has not checked in with her. Lila explains that Travis turned Veer’s mistress (Kate Garza) into his informant and then fell in love with her. Lila believes that is why Travis is so interested in the Bhullars.

‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 13 Recap: Burning questions we still have

Is Wolf really dead this time? What is Veer Bhullar hiding? There’s something going on there. When are Donno and Tonya going to kiss? Their relationship is adorable, even if they are on the wrong side.

How many people died in Big Sky Season 2 Episode 13? It looks like Wolf Legarski, Bob, two officers, and one of Tonya’s truckers.

In the middle of the episode, the four teens reconvened and agreed things will “never be the same.” Bridger (Jeremy Ray Taylor) and Madison’s (Lola Skye Reid) parents are sending them away to boarding school. They shared a group hug. Then, Max (Madelyn Kientz) and Harper (Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson) share a kiss and head off to meet Rachel (T.V. Carpio) together. Will we ever see the teens again? Probably not, since their storyline is over.

According to the ABC press release, Big Sky Season 2 Episode 14, “Dead Man’s Float,” returns on March 31, 2022. Big Sky airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC and is available for streaming the next day on Hulu.
