What night is ‘Big Sky’ on ABC?
ABC’s Big Sky switched to a new night for season 2. Big Sky Season 2 airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC instead of airing on Tuesdays. The crime thriller set in rural Montana featuring Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury follows Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy. Big Sky Season 2 returned on Sept. 30, 2021.
‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 1 recap
In Big Sky Season 2 Episode 1, viewers find out that Jenny Hoyt (Winnick) survived the gunshot wound from Ronald’s associate. Six weeks later, she still has a large wound but insists on getting back to work. Her first order of business is to ask Sheriff Tubb (Patrick Gallagher) for her badge back because she believes it will help her solve cases.
Cassie Dewell (Bunbury) continues to search for Ronald with the help of Deputy US Marshal Mark Lindor (Omar Metwally). Although he’s temporarily relieved of his Marshal duties, Lindor does have a lead for Cassie. There’s a whole new group of teenagers that witness an accident and a shooting. One of the teens, Max (Madelyn Kientz), ends up with bags of drugs and money hidden in her shed.
A lot is going on in the Big Sky Season 2 premiere, but the one thing viewers did not see coming was John Carroll Lynch’s character with Ronald. Lynch plays Rick Legarski’s twin brother, Wolfgang Legarski. Many viewers believe he’s seeking revenge against Ronald for his brother’s death. Whatever the reason may be, he served Ronald a plate of bacon and eggs in the shape of a smiley face as he said, “Wakey, Wakey.” Wolfgang has a very long ponytail and glasses, unlike his brother, Rick. Plus, he lives on sprawling land with various caged animals.
‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 2 Promo
In the Big Sky Season 2 Episode 2 promo, Ronald tells Wolf, “I’m going to kill you.” However, Wolfgang has the upper hand since Ronald has a leash around his neck and is locked in a room. Rick’s twin brother calls Ronald a “Bad dog.”
Elsewhere, Janina Gavankar’s character comes to town as Ren and she wants answers.
“Just follow our money, and see where it takes us,” Ren tells her associate.
Later in the promo, Tonya visits Dewell and Hoyt’s private investigation office about her missing boyfriend, Big Sam (Eric Weiss). Viewers know that he was the man who tried to kill Ringo. However, the bagged-up man woke up and caused the crash. In Big Sky Season 2 Episode 1, it looked like Big Sam died; however, in the promo for episode 2, viewers find out that he woke up and escaped the crash. Now, everyone’s on the hunt for Big Sam.
