The four teens come to a head with Deputy Harvey

Big Sky Season 2 Episode 4 opens with Harper (Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson) seeing Creary (Ryan De Quintal) outside her window. The next day she talks to Max (Madelyn Kientz) about him. As they begin their drug deal with Dylan (Timothy Oakes), they get a text from Bridger (Jeremy Ray Taylor).

Deputy Harvey (Michael Malarkey) pays a visit to Bridger, lures him outside, and grabs the teenager. Later, Deputy Harvey duct tapes Bridger to a chair and questions him. Bridger gives Harvey his sister’s number, and Harvey tells Madison (Lola Skye Reid) to bring the money and drugs in exchange for Bridger.

Cassie and Jerrie suspect Ren is up to something

Meanwhile, Ren (Janina Gavankar) comes running out of the trailer with her hands up at the construction site when Cassie and Jerrie arrive. She plays the innocent woman card with her hands up in the air. Cassie and Jerrie look around, but Donno (Ryan O’Nan) hides with Tonya in a closet.

‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 4: The Wolfgang Ranch

Later in the episode, Ronald wakes up with a choke collar around his neck. Wolf explains that he can take it off when he earns his trust back. Wolf adds that he went to great lengths to make a deal with the people Ronald was wrapped up with. Wolf shows Ronald his cemetery, but Wolf activates the collar every time the serial killer mocks him.

Wolf talks about his mother and how his brother, Trooper Rick, could “do no wrong.” The two bond a bit, talking about their mothers. Then Wolf rewards Ronald — time with Scarlet (Anja Savcic) and his favorite cereal. When Ronald suggests that Scarlet steal the remote to his choke collar, she insists they follow the rules.

Travis and Dietrich

Cassie asks Jenny to talk to Travis (Logan Marshall-Green) about who the cartel sent. Travis explains that the cartel is “ruthless,” and Tonya is likely dead. As the two fall into bed together, two men lurk outside of the hotel. Dietrich (David Meunier) wonders why Travis is staying in a hotel.

In Big Sky Season 2 Episode 4, Travis suggests to Jenny that Dietrich might be someone they should look into. Later, he meets Dietrich at the bar and offers his assistance. Ren and Donno show up to discuss the missing drugs and money.

Meanwhile, Deputy Poppernak (J. Anthony Pena) lies about finding remnants of Tonya’s shirt. The Deputy says it was in the river and that she’s likely dead, but viewers know it was on a tree branch.

‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 4: Mark Lindor and Jerrie Kennedy

Mark Lindor (Omar Metwally) shows up at the Private Investigators’ office. Jerrie Kennedy (Jesse James Keitel) gives him the cold shoulder, knowing that he’s only there looking for Cassie. Denise Brisbane (Dedee Pfeiffer) thinks that Jerrie and Mark are wasting their time looking for Ronald. However, the pair head to the cabin anyway. The cocoa cereal is on the table, but Ronald is nowhere to be found. Mark tells Jerrie he’s been “sleuthing” her online, and she insists they cannot give up on finding Ronald. Then, they share a kiss.

Later in Big Sky Season 2 Episode 4, Tonya shows up at Dewell and Hoyt’s investigative offices. She tells the women that Deputy Harvey picked her up for questioning and wouldn’t let her go. Tonya claims that Harvey killed the restaurant owner and her boyfriend, Sam (Eric Weiss). They take Tonya to Sheriff Tubb (Patrick Gallagher), but he doesn’t believe Tonya’s story. Instead, Cassie and Jenny head to find Deputy Harvey, defying the Sheriff’s orders.

Meanwhile, Ren and Donno discuss whether Tonya will spill her guts or spin the story they want. They head to Harvey’s cabin. Harper, Max, and Madison bring both bags to the house but leave them in the woods while they scope out the situation. When Cassie and Jenny arrive at Harvey’s cabin, Donno shoots at them. That’s when the episode cuts to the credits.

Burning questions fans have after ‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Episode 4

Is Deputy Poppernak a bad apple, too? Although he’s a minor character, he always tries to throw Jenny off the scent. Where is the Wolf ranch? Why didn’t Mark and Jerrie check into the woods further? It seems strange that they came so close and didn’t walk around in the surrounding area outside.

Who will die in Big Sky Season 2 Episode 5? With Ren, Donno, and Harvey all at the same location, there’s bound to be a shootout. Did Donno already shoot Cassie or Jenny? It didn’t look like it, but it’s still possible. Will any of the teenagers die?
