Billie Eilish has a unique style

Ever since Eilish first gained prominence, she has always had a unique style. For example, Eilish often sported black-and-green hair. At some point, she also changed her hair color to blue.

In terms of fashion, Eilish is not one to conform either. She often wears baggy clothes that give off androgynous vibes. Eilish once said she does this to prevent people from commenting about her body—something many female celebrities deal with on a daily basis.

“Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know? Nobody can be like, ‘She’s slim-thick’, ‘She’s not slim-thick’, ‘She’s got a flat ass’, ‘She got a fat ass’,” she told Vogue Australia in 2019. “Nobody can say any of that because they don’t know.”

Nowadays, Eilish has started embracing crop tops and fitted outfits, especially on magazine covers and at notable events. However, she still maintains a distinct style.

Billie Eilish ‘felt like a new person’ after dying her hair blonde

Eilish’s hair has undergone a transformation as well. Earlier this year, she dyed her hair blonde. According to Eilish, this made her feel “like a new person.”

“I couldn’t go anywhere with [my green] hair because it was so obviously me,” she told Elle. “I wanted anonymity.”

Eilish explained what happened the first time she exposed her blonde hair in public. She said, “ went to a park with a friend, and I was like, ‘No, I can’t take off my hood!’ I was terrified of the paparazzi and these stalkers I’ve had. But my friend was like, ‘Don’t worry: You’re okay. Nothing’s gonna happen.’ And I took my hood off, and I felt like a new person.”

Some fans are having a hard time getting used to Eilish with blonde hair, but she insisted that she has not changed on the inside.

“The other day, I posted a video from when I had green hair, and I saw people go, ‘I miss this Billie, the green-haired Billie,’” Eilish said. “I’m still the same person. I’m not just different Barbies with different heads.”
