Everglow debuted in 2019 with a bit of fanfare. Three of the group’s members had competed on popular talent search shows in South Korea. Though they did not get very far on these shows, they have been able to showcase their talents and charm in Everglow.

The group is known for their catchy hip-hop sounds, which has been quite popular among international K-pop fans. In fact, all of Everglow’s singles, such as “Adios” and “Dun Dun,” have been in the top 10 on the U.S. World chart. The group even toured the U.S. in 2020 before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic took over.

Itzy came onto the scene in 2019 and quickly blew people away. The group’s first single, “Dalla Dalla,” which is influenced by EDM sub-genres like future house and bass house, quickly went to number 2 on the U.S. World chart. On YouTube, the music video also became the most-viewed K-pop video within the first 24 hours.

Since then, Itzy has attracted a lot of fans all around the world with their catchy songs and infectious personalities. From 2019 to 2020, the group also has a tour in various cities in Asia and the U.S.

(G)I-dle

BLACKPINK are trendsetters in the K-pop industry, and fans who appreciate that should check out this next group.

(G)I-dle (pronounced only as “Idle”) debuted in 2018 and has since been recognized as one of the most unique K-pop artists in the industry. Unlike other girl groups, (G)I-dle is hugely involved in the production of their music and their image. The members have earned a lot of praise for helping to break stereotypes about female artists.

(G)I-dle has won a lot of awards in South Korea and been nominated for several internationally, including at the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards.
