Season 11 of Blue Bloods is coming to a close. Will the Reagans be back to solve more cases? These are the big moments of season 11 and the answer to that question.

Season 11 showed the Reagans doing their jobs as usual. But some big moments changed their relationships with each other and other peolple.

Joe Hill (Will Hochman) returned, and Joe Reagan being his father, was revealed in the news. He had a few dinners with the other family members but then didn’t return for many episodes.

Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) also got closer this season. They survived a dangerous case of finding a serial killer. Danny told her after they caught the killer that he likes her the way she is. Some fans wondered if this meant a romance might start between them.

In a later episode, Baez’s personal love life is revealed after a man’s body is found on her lawn. She dated the man who was killed. The partners admitted it was awkward talking about Baez dating someone else. This basically confirmed they do like each other but are deciding not to act on it for now.

Erin (Bridget Moynahan) also didn’t get a promotion at work and really struggled to work for her new boss. Another season would give an opportunity to see these stories grow, so many fans have been hoping Blue Bloods will return.

‘Blue Bloods’ will return for season 12?

The good news is the Reagans will be breaking bread together for another season. CBS announced Blue Bloods will be returning along with Bull, Magnum P.I., NCIS, and S.W.A.T, according to Deadline.

This news is probably not surprising given cast members recently said they still enjoy filming. “I just know that we’re having more fun than we’ve ever had on the show,” Donnie Wahlberg told PopCulture.com. “It’s still the number one show on Friday night for 10 years and it’s been a great run and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon.”

Tom Selleck, who plays Frank Reagan, also told People he thinks the show can go further. “I don’t think there is an endpoint,” he said. “I think there is a lot of life in the show, as long as you let your characters grow and get older.”
