Donnie Wahlberg plays the role of Danny Reagan in the crime drama television series Blue Bloods. He’s the eldest son of Frank and Mary Reagan, as well as the older sibling of Erin, Jamie, and the late Joe Reagan. Danny Reagan’s unlucky love life

The Blue Bloods’ character had a short relationship in high school with a girl named Marianne Romano, before he met and married his longtime wife, Linda. The couple married in 1996 and had two sons together: Jack and Sean. While things were sometimes rocky, the relationship appeared to overall be a happy one. That was, until Linda Reagan died in an apparent helicopter crash at the end of the eighth season. That was back in 2017.

Now, almost a year and a half later, Reagan is still trying to cope with his loss. While there is some talk about the show presenting him with a new love interest, nothing has been confirmed yet. For now, the Blue Bloods character is still dealing with his loss in the usual mix of anger, sadness, and confusion.

Who is Donnie Wahlberg married to in real life?

Wahlberg is married to actress and television personality Jenny McCarthy. The two met in March of 2013 when Wahlberg was interviewed by his future wife on her VH1 program The Jenny McCarthy Show. The two were incredibly flirtatious on screen, and viewers could see sparks flying right away. It was not until July of that year, however, that the two began publicly dating.

Just under a year later, in April of 2014, Wahlberg proposed to McCarthy — and, obviously, she said yes. They got married a few short months later in a very small, personal ceremony in St. Charles, Illinois. They’ve been happily married since and recently celebrated their fourth anniversary together.
