‘Blue Bloods’: Will Estes Gifted Vanessa Ray an Autographed Coaster From This Celebrity
The cast of Blue Bloods has become close over the years. That includes Will Estes, who plays Jamie Reagan, and Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie Reagan. Ray revealed her co-star gifted her a gift that’s connected to a celebrity.

Ray joined Blue Bloods to play Eddie Janko in 2013. Her character eventually gets married to Jamie. Ray claimed she had to win over Estes.
“I think you were skeptical of me,” she said to Estes in an interview with CBS. “I don’t think that!” he said.
“This story I’m positive about. I remember you were in full costume. And I think you were like, ‘Who is this girl? Who is this blond girl?’” Ray later said. “I remember always liking you,” Estes claimed.
The actors admitted to not thinking their characters falling in love before the end of Blue Bloods would work. “It was the Moonlighting thing, Estes explained. “Once they got together, the story was over. The anticipation is so much better than the monster—that’s what Hitchcock taught us. So we were nervous about what it was going to mean once we were together.”
The actors seem to be good friends. Ray revealed a gift he gave her that she keeps in her home.

Ray revealed she’s been a fan of Bill Nye since she was young. “I was home-schooled as a kid,” she told The New York Times. “Bill Nye did a segment on The Mickey Mouse Club, and he was always doing stuff and blowing things up.”
She continued, “It got my brother and me excited about science, and we’ve really leaned into it over the years. If I could meet Bill Nye, I would be speechless.”
Estes went to an event and got an autographed coaster from the Science Guy for her. She has it in the corner of a picture frame in her home.
Jamie and Eddie Reagan are still going strong
Jamie and Eddie got married in season 9. The couple is still going strong in season 11.
Jamie is now a sergeant and Eddie’s boss. Eddie has a new partner on the job with Officer Rachel Witten (Lauren Patten). Jamie and Eddie might not be riding together anymore, but they do sometimes work together.
So despite the actors’ doubts, the married couple is making it work on the show. They also seem to be good friends in real life, and Estes sounds like a good gift giver.
