It’s not every day that someone outshines Beyoncé. Still, during a new promotional video for her upcoming Ivy Park x Adidas collection, the singer’s eight-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter effortlessly stole her spotlight.

Though the star’s eight-year-old daughter only made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in the video, her cameo still had the internet talking as she showcased an incredible — and impressive — skill that we’re not even sure the Queen Bey herself can do.

Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, broke into a split during the singer’s fun promo video

Blue Ivy is continuing to prove that she has many different skills up her sleeves.

Not only is she a talented singer, makeup artist, and science teacher, the youngster is also a skilled gymnastic who recently showed off her mind-blowing flexibility in a teaser video for her superstar mama’s upcoming Drip 2 Ivy Park x Adidas collection.

Posted to Adidas’ YouTube channel, the fun promo video features Beyoncé’s modeling her new collection while doing her best impression of an ’80s-inspired exercise video instructor.

While the “Halo” singer was in the midst of sharing her thoughts on the state of the world, her home life, and her time spent in quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eight-year-old Blue Ivy makes a surprise cameo and effortlessly steals the show during her seconds-long appearance.

At one point during the video, Beyoncé is seen indulging in a bubble bath before Blue Ivy pops into the frame, adorably interrupting her mom’s me-time.

“I tried to make sure I got five minutes by myself in the bathtub every day,” Beyoncé says in the clip. “It was still difficult, and I still heard ‘Mommy! Mommy!'”

Later on, Blue Ivy appears again, but this time, she shows off her incredible ability to do the splits.

While the internet was taken aback by the youngster’s fantastic skill, this wouldn’t be the first time she’s put her gymnastic abilities on display for all to see.

Blue Ivy has been perfecting her splits for a while now

Though seeing Blue Ivy break into the splits during the new Ivy Park promo video sent fans into a frenzy, this actually wasn’t the first time the eight-year-old has executed the splits perfectly on camera.

Back in June 2019, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter showed off her stellar ability while performing center stage at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy recital in Los Angeles.

As she and the rest of her troupe danced to her mom’s song “Before I Let Go,” Blue dropped into a perfect split, which TMZ snagged footage of.

A few months later, Blue Ivy was seen expertly sitting in the physical position in Beyoncé’s “2019 Bey-Cap” of the year.

Though for the time being it certainly seems like Blue Ivy can make it as a professional gymnast, Beyoncé will be happy with whatever the little girl decides to become.

In a candid essay for her September 2018 issue of Vogue, the Grammy winner opened up about her big dreams for her children and expressed her unconditional support of whatever they go after in life.

“My mother taught me the importance not just of being seen but of seeing myself. As the mother of two girls, it’s important to me that they see themselves too—in books, films, and on runways,” she wrote. “It’s important to me that they see themselves as CEOs, as bosses, and that they know they can write the script for their own lives—that they can speak their minds and they have no ceiling.”

“They don’t have to be a certain type or fit into a specific category,” she continued. “They don’t have to be politically correct, as long as they’re authentic, respectful, compassionate, and empathetic. They can explore any religion, fall in love with any race, and love who they want to love.”
