When do new episodes of ‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ Season 3 return?

According to listings, Bob Hearts Abishola CBS has not canceled the show and has planned reruns until January 2022.

Bob Hearts Abishola Season 3 returns with Cedric the Entertainer’s The Neighborhood on January 3, 2022.

In the meantime, reruns air during the usual timeslot through the holiday season. However, CBS also has plans to fill the 8 pm EST primetime slot with specials. One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga also pushes the return of Bob Hearts Abishola Season 3 back.

Here’s a quick guide to which episodes you can expect to see..

Does ‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ Season 3 return tonight or are they reruns?

On December 12. 2021, the Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 episode, “A Big African Bassoon,” airs.

When Gloria (Vernee Watson) goes on vacation and leaves Abishola in charge of the nursing staff, things do not go smoothly. Many of the nursing staff complain about how strictly Abishola runs things and how she lacks “people skills.” The episode title even comes from a nurse’s line while complaining to Kemi (Gina Yashere).

On December 20, the special One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga airs again. It celebrates Tony Bennett’s 95th birthday and likely his final on-stage performance.

Lastly, on December 27, 2021, the Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 episode, “TLC: Tunde’s Loving Care,” airs before new episodes return.

“As Abishola begins studying for medical school, she offends Gloria with an insensitive comment about Gloria’s own journey of almost becoming a doctor. Also, Tunde schools a reluctant Bob on the art of home repair while helping to fix his dishwasher,” the original press release reads via The Futon Critic.

The title from the episodes comes from Tunde (Barry Shabaka Henley), giving Bob some wisdom on his broken dishwasher.

Everything we know about episode 10 of the CBS sitcom and when it comes back to TV

For Chuck Lorre’s sitcom starring Gardell and Olowofoyeku, season 3 episode 9, “Tunde123,” returns on January 3, 2022 for Bob Hearts Abishola.

“When Abishola finds out Tayo has given Dele a credit card, she worries he’s being spoiled and becomes stricter with him. Also, worried she’s being too harsh, Bob goes behind Abishola’s back to do something special for Dele,” the description reads via Futon Critic.

Dele (Travis Wolf Jr.) returned to the US to surprise his mom. And it looks like he could stick around for a while. One of the funniest dynamics came from Bob and Dele. While Dele’s mom strictly parented him, Bob had a more relaxed approach. It seems fans can see this difference in parenting when the CBS sitcom comes back to TV.

With both 2021 rerun episodes focusing on Abishola and Gloria’s relationship, CBS might hint at more issues between the two in future episodes when Bob Hearts Abishola Season 3 returns.

Fans can look forward to Abishola, Uncle Tunde, Bob, Christina (Maribeth Monroe), and the rest of the Bob Hearts Abishola cast when they return in 2022.
