With the past two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett taking Star Wars fans on a trip around the galaxy, many are eager to return to the title character’s fight against the Pyke Syndicate in the Disney+ show’s finale. Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) is poised to start a war in The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 — so, when is its release date?

[Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett Episode 6.]

Boba Fett has been absent leading into ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ finale

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 will bring the title character’s recent adventure to a close, but Temuera Morrison’s bounty-hunter-turned-crime-lord has been mostly absent from recent installments. Episode 5 followed The Mandalorian‘s Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), while episode 6 caught viewers up on Grogu’s training with Luke Skywalker.

Boba did make a brief appearance in “Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger.” However, it was only to show him briefing his followers ahead of their confrontation with the Pykes. Din has officially joined the group, but they may be in over their heads when it comes to reclaiming Tatooine.

When episode 6 wasn’t focused on Din Djarin or Grogu, it revisited another familiar character: Marshall Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant). Vanth was left in a worrisome state following an encounter with a blue bounty hunter called Cad Bane (Corey Burton). Those who recognize Bane from The Clone Wars know how dangerous he is. If he’s working for the Pykes, Boba and his companions may be in trouble.

With the storytelling of this Star Wars series feeling a bit scattered, one has to wonder how The Book of Boba Fett finale will wrap things up. Of course, this show could be setting up a second season and The Mandalorian Season 3. Fans will have more answers when Chapter 7 arrives.

It’s hard to say what fans can expect from The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7, especially when the storytelling has been so scattered leading up to the finale. Episode 6 shows that Boba Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) have gathered an impressive force to take on the Pykes. Unfortunately, that may not help them if Cad Bane is working for the enemy.

With that in mind, viewers can probably expect a few surprises — and maybe even a cliffhanger — from The Book of Boba Fett‘s finale. There’s no word on whether or not the series will get a season 2. However, with so much left to contend with, it seems inevitable these characters will continue their journey in a future project, whether it’s a second outing or another show entirely.
