Bridgerton became one of the most-watched shows on Netflix. With more seasons on the way, fans want to know what the series has in store. Season 2 most likely will have a scene of a game of pall-mall.

The author of the novels does consult the showrunners, but only a minuscule amount. Still, it is safe to say that the show will not deviate too much. As a result, the subsequent seasons will focus on different Bridgerton family members.

Anthony will play a central role in season 2

Bridgerton was a massive hit after its debut, and Netflix renewed the series for three more seasons. Some characters may not return for future episodes. For example, Regé-Jean Page, who plays the Duke of Hastings, left the show since he does not have a role in season 2.

The news did not shock many readers since each novel focuses on a different Bridgerton. Fans saw the story of Daphne, and they will primarily see life from Anthony’s point of view. Siena leaves him in season 1, but he is ready to seek a new love interest in the upcoming episodes.

The book has Anthony falling for a woman named Kate, so the show will depict that romance plotline. The creator of the Bridgerton series mentioned how the story is “as sweeping and as beautiful” as fans can expect.

It could be interesting to see where Anthony ends up by the end of the season. Other supporting characters had small storylines in the first season. The audience may see a continuation of them.

Which Bridgerton will season 3 focus on?

The subsequent seasons of Bridgerton also will focus on a different member of the family. According to Elle, the center of season 3 most likely will be Benedict Bridgerton. He is the main subject in the third novel, and the show may not deviate too much from the source material.

In the books, Benedict’s arc has classic elements of Cinderella. He falls in love with a woman named Sophie Beckett. Sophie is the daughter of an earl, but her stepmother forces her into a life of servitude. Bustle reports that the two protagonists also meet at a ball.

Fans may be in for a treat if they are into that type of love story. Even though the season may focus on Sophie and Benedict, viewers can expect to see other characters. With any luck, they may get to see cameos of stars who have already left the cast.

More information on the fairytale narrative may come out as season 3 approaches. Book readers may know what to expect from the coming seasons.

Then, there is the question of Genevieve Delacroix, who plays the seamstress in the first season. Her character is not in the books, but the show may keep her around.
