Does Britney Spears’ Husband Sam Asghari Have Any Children of His Own?
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have been a happy couple since 2016. Six years later, the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer announced that she and Asghari were expecting their first child together — and both couldn’t be more thrilled.

Spears and Asghari first met in 2016 on the set of the music video for her song “Slumber Party.” Asghari was cast as the love interest in the video by Spears herself — a decision she came to quickly.
Asghari spoke about the experience in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Prior to the “Slumber Party” video, he appeared in the visual for Fifth Harmony‘s hit single “Work From Home.”
“It was fun. I’d got a lot of attention from Fifth Harmony, so I knew what I was stepping into,” he said of the experience. “Fifth Harmony was just coming out as a little group, and now Britney Spears, the Princess of Pop, wanting me to play the love interest of the . I said, ‘Why not? Let me give it a shot.'”
He recounted how his picture was sent to Spears, along with other actors’, and she chose his immediately. “I did not have to audition. It was a direct book,” he said.
They hit it off while shooting the video, and a few months later, Asghari got another phone call — not about anything work-related, but to go on a sushi date with Spears. They started dating soon after, “just like a normal couple.”

In April 2022, Spears announced on Instagram that she was having a baby. In her bombshell conservatorship hearing in 2021, she revealed that she’d wanted to have a baby throughout her conservatorship in the previous 13 years, but wasn’t allowed to because she was forced on contraception. To have a family together, then, is a dream come true for both Spears and Asghari.
Asghari, an actor who’s appeared on shows like Hacks and Dollface, shared his excitement about their bundle of joy in his own Instagram post: he shared a photo of a family of lions cuddling together — fitting considering his nickname for Spears is “Lioness,” and he even had it engraved on her engagement ring.
“Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect,” he said honestly. “Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do.”
Asghari, 28, has spoken in the past about wanting to be a young father, and will embark on his journey alongside Spears.

Spears, meanwhile, brings her own two children to their relationship: her songs Sean Preston and Jayden James, born in the mid-2000s. Her baby sons were at the center of her highly-publicized custody battle in 2007 and subsequent conservatorship starting in 2008.
Since the two started dating in 2016, Asghari has spent lots of time bonding with Spears’ other children. A source told HollywoodLife that Spears is happy with the dynamic in her home now.
“Sam does live with Britney now, and so the boys are always hanging out with him. Sam is a guy’s guy, and Sean and Jayden really like that,” the source said. “Britney calls the three of them ‘my boys!’ They are the three men who she knows will always love her and will always protect her, no matter what.”
