BTS Is Back In Korea From Finland: Jungkook’s Blonde Hair and Jimin’s Hat Take Center Stage
Not even a week after the internet was set on fire with comeback rumors and news of new hair colors, BTS returned to Korea from Finland. The K-pop group — including members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — arrived at the Incheon International Airport for their overseas trip on Nov. 11. But before they left, BTS teased Jungkook’s blonde hair, which made fans wonder if the group was gearing up for their next album comeback. Then when BTS returned home, they continued the trend. And basically, BTS fans were left devastated by Jungkook’s two-toned hair, Jimin’s hat, and the many charms of the Bangtan Boys.
BTS flies back to Korea from Finland on Nov. 16, 2019
On Nov. 16, BTS came back to Korea from Helsinki, Finland, according to a video posted by Newsen. The South Korean publication filmed BTS as they arrived at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul. And per usual, each BTS member rolled out in airport fashion, cameras flashing off the overwhelming crowds along the way.
As seen in the 154-minute clip, the individual BTS members dawned a facemask — except for Jin, who showcased his Worldwide Handsome face. The members also bundled up with some sort of hat, which — to the disappointment of ARMY — covered their hair.
Fans react to Jungkook’s blonde hair and Jimin’s hat when BTS returned to Korea from Finland
Even though most of the BTS members were covered, there were still a few key things fans noticed when the group returned from Finland. For one, most members of ARMY discovered Jungkook’s hair is still blonde and black in color. However, upon further inspection, some fans pointed out Jungkook’s two-toned hair almost appears green. But it’s possibly due to the lighting.
“What’s colour is? Green? Blonde? Black and white?” a fan on Twitter asked. “Jungkook is too shining, i can’t see it.”
“I still do not understand jungkook’s hair,” another fan tweeted.
Then holding onto Jungkook’s arm in a giant white hat was none other than Jimin. And it sent ARMY into a frenzy. “Jimin with that big hat and coat holding onto jungkook’s arm,” one fan wrote. “THE PEAK DEVASTATION.”
Later, Jimin also posted a selfie with his trapper hat, noting that it was J-Hope’s idea. “Hoseokie hyung said that if I appear wearing this ARMY would like it,” a fan translated on Twitter.
Meanwhile, other members of ARMY were simply thankful for the appearance of Jin’s face. “Big respect for Seokjin’s dedication to let us see his face,” a Reddit user wrote.
“Kim seokjin and the 6 masked men,” another user wrote.
Regardless, most fans were excited to see BTS return to Korea safely, even if their hair was — for the most part — hidden from everyone’s sight.
“ARMY trying to guess @BTS_twt hair colors like,” a fan wrote alongside a line of laughing emojis.
Why was BTS in Finland?
Naturally, ARMY was also curious about why BTS was in Finland. According to Koreaboo, the K-pop group flew to Europe for a photoshoot with FILA. On Oct. 1, the Italian sportswear company inked a deal with BTS for an ad campaign arriving in early 2020, per Billboard.
“BTS’s passion, positivity, and their genuine communication with fans are qualities that align with FILA,” a FILA spokesperson said. “Their energetic and unique personalities also make them an optimal fit as brand ambassadors. We look forward to creating a meaningful synergy between two global brands.”
That said, some members of ARMY have their doubts about the FILA campaign being filmed in Finland. As Apparel News reported BTS will be shooting their FILA campaign in December. And with the reason behind BTS’s Finland trip unconfirmed by Big Hit Entertainment, fans began wondering what else could be on the horizon.
“I wonder what they did in Finland, I’m so curious and excited to see what it will be. Is it comeback material? Is it winter seasons greeting photo shoot? Or maybe a CF, who knows,” a fan on Reddit wrote.
Nevertheless, BTS’s return from their Finland trip also sparked more speculation about the BTS comeback, especially because the boys were so well-covered.
“Yeah they keep hiding their hair so far. It must be has something with their upcoming comeback,” a fan wrote.
As of now, nothing is confirmed in regards to the Finland trip — much less a BTS comeback date. But one thing’s for sure — ARMY can sense something coming. Until then, may Jungkook’s blonde hair, Jimin’s hat, and Jin’s Worldwide Handsome face live on forever.
