BTS’s youngest member, Jungkook, is known to be a very quiet person. Although he does not talk much, Jungkook sometimes surprises people by how observant he is.

He recently showed off this skill on the latest episode of Run BTS. Jungkook noticed a staff member struggling while BTS was filming, and he did not hesitate to help them.

‘Run BTS’ will soon go on a hiatus

Run BTS is a variety show starring BTS. It aired on the streaming platform VLIVE in 2015 and has since become a beloved fixture of the BTS fandom.

The show often features the members of BTS playing games and taking on various challenges. They usually compete against each other, with the losers often receiving silly punishments. Many fans love Run BTS because it allows them to see the funny sides of the members that can be different from their stage personas.

BTS has premiered other variety shows during their career, but Run BTS remains one of their most popular yet.

In early October, Weverse announced that Run BTS would take a hiatus. The show’s latest episodes are titled “Finale (Part 1)” and “Finale (Part 2).” It is not clear when Run BTS will return.

Jungkook did something incredibly sweet for a staff member on the latest episode

During episode 155, which is the final episode before their hiatus, the members looked back on their Run BTS journey. They tested their Run BTS knowledge with a quiz as well as replayed some memorable games from the past six years.

In the middle of the episode, BTS took a break from having fun to eat dinner together. While the members enjoyed a nice barbecue meal outside, Jungkook noticed something behind the camera. Then, he went back into the house and came out with a pair of slippers.

Jungkook explained, “Our director was standing with his bare feet.” It’s likely the director may not have time to put on proper shoes while moving around to film the members, and Jungkook noticed what was happening.

“How considerate,” J-Hope praised the youngest member.

Bringing shoes for a director was an extremely kind act, but Jungkook has once been a hero for someone else.

In 2018, South Korean TV host Kim Sung-Joo revealed that Jungkook once saved his life. During an appearance on the show Visiting Tutor, Kim shared that, at the 2016 DMC Festival, he was standing on stage when a stage lift came down, creating a hole. BTS was underneath the stage and waiting to be brought up on the lift. However, Kim did not realize this and made a potentially devasting move.

“I walked backward and fell inside the lift,” he said.

Thankfully, Jungkook was there to catch Kim’s fall. Kim was grateful to Jungkook and noted that the BTS member’s unexpectedly heroic act was the reason why he did not sustain serious injury.
