In today’s world, many people spend a lot of time studying and working. Thanks to demanding workload at school and busy 9-to-5 jobs, there is also much talk about how to wind down during one’s free time.

BTS seems to understand this well. The group is, after all, one of the most popular boy bands out there, and they have a very demanding schedule. The members of BTS recently revealed what they like to do when not working to “charge” their energy. Jungkook, in particular, has a super relatable answer.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has cut many events out of BTS’s calendar, but before then, the group was extremely busy on most days.

Whenever BTS releases new music, they fill their time with promotional events. In South Korea, the group spends numerous hours at music shows to perform their latest song(s). They also often fly over to the United States to do countless interviews with American news outlets.

Afterwards, BTS might tour in cities all over the world, which requires them to put in the time to practice choreographies and other necessities for a successful show.

Whenever BTS is not touring or promoting music, they also spend their time writing music and working on their craft.

Whenever BTS has downtime, each member seems to have his own way of “charging” energy. In a new interview to promote their new song “Ioniq: I’m On It,” which was released in partnership with Hyundai, Jungkook reveals that he sleeps a lot.

“The best way to recharge is by sleeping, and sleep is important,” Jungkook says, as reported by Billboard.

Jungkook is not the only member who enjoys sleeping, however. Jin and RM agree that they like to sleep to “charge” as well. Jin also eats and plays games while RM likes reading too.

Meanwhile, V and Jimin enjoy spending time with and giving back to their fandom, ARMY.

J-Hope, on the other hand, says that he “charges” by laughing. He shares, “I think I just laugh nonstop. I think my laughter naturally melts in when I want to recharge.”

Perhaps it is not surprising that Jungkook likes to sleep so much. In fact, BTS fans have known for a while now that he has interesting sleeping habits.

In November 2019, on an episode of BANGTANTV, it was revealed that Jungkook did not own a pillow. The group was seen visiting BTS Pop-Up: House of BTS in Seoul, and Jungkook bought a pillow and made the shocking revelation.

“I don’t have a pillow at home,” he shared before also letting fans and the other members in how he usually slept. “I roll up towels.”

Several months later, fans noticed Jungkook also has a unique sleeping position, as reported by Allkpop. Instead of sleeping with his legs straight out, he crosses his legs. This has been seen in several photos and videos over the years.
