Can ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Fans Buy Brittany Cartwright’s Beer Cheese?
Cartwright grew up enjoying a special blend of beer cheese that her grandmother would make. As more cast members sampled the cheese, the idea came to her to package and market the beer cheese for mass consumption. The couple was seen on camera working out the details of launching the business. Some details seemed a little tedious when Taylor tried to dive in. Especially when it came to the massive amount of paperwork needed to launch the company.
The cheese referred to as “Meemaw’s Beer Cheese” looked like it was going to be hitting stores soon. But is it officially ready for purchase? Taylor’s mother-in-law Sherri Cartwright recently offered an update on Twitter.
Cartwright was looking to market the beer cheese
When Bravo’s The Feast caught up with the couple last December, Cartwright said she was getting ready to launch it. “Meemaw, she has her beer cheese that’s she’s been selling for a long time, so Jax and I are just trying to take it to the next level,” she said. “So we are working with a couple different companies in LA to try to get it going and it’s gonna be on this season… Meemaw’s beer cheese. It’s gonna be up and running soon!”
According to Cartwright, beer cheese is a blend of sharp cheddar cheese, beer, and spices. The cheese is commonly consumed in her home state of Kentucky too. “Beer cheese is just so good,” she said. “I love beer cheese and just cause my meemaw makes it and it’s her recipe, it just makes it special for me.”
Fans were here for this beer cheese. Plus, many asked on social media about when the Kentucky delight would be ready for purchase. Although the couple seemed to ready to bring the cheese to the masses, no more was really said about the product on the show.
Cartwright’s mother shares an update
After the big beer cheese boom on the show went viral, chatter about where to buy it died down. However, Cartwright’s mother revitalized the product when she posted a picture holding the packaged version of “Mamaw’s Beer Cheese.” She captioned the image, “It’s always a good thing when Mamaw’s Beer Cheese is next door.”
Taylor retweeted the post and people responded quickly. “Omg we have to buy this,” one person wrote. Another person wanted to know if it was ready for sale yet too. Cartwright’s mother responded, “Just local still working on it.”
Although fans were happy to see the beer cheese idea was still alive, many were bummed they couldn’t purchase it yet. “Can’t wait to try this,” one person remarked. Another person wrote, “Beer cheese sounds so yummy.” Looks like the name may have changed from “Meemaw” to “Mamaw.” Either way fan interest is high and people can’t wait to get to dive in.
