Candace Cameron Bure got married when she was just 20, only a year after she met her future husband. Valeri Bure was a pro hockey player, and a Full House co-star introduced them. Dave Coulier, who played Uncle Joey on Full House, took Cameron Bure to a hockey game. When Valeri Bure caught her eye, Coulier helped introduce them. That was in 1995. They went on a date the next day, and were engaged in less than a year.

Cameron and Bure have been together ever since, and they’ve been married for two and a half decades.

Natasha celebrated her 23rd birthday in August 2021, and fans had a few things to say about the pictures that Candace Cameron Bure shared in honor of the event, according to E! Online

It wasn’t until the kids were a little bit older that Cameron Bure went back to acting, but she had a few things to say about how she and husband Valeri handled things. The actor said that when she would work, her husband would step in to take care of things. That worked in reverse, too. Cameron Bure would step in and take care of the kids when Valeri worked. They switched off back and forth as much as they needed.

She says that sometimes, she has trouble disengaging with work and focusing solely on her kids and husband. Like many working parents, it’s hard to stop thinking about what needs to be done next and engage completely with family. Cameron Bure finds a way to make it work, though.

Both she and her husband are practicing and devout Christians. She credits their Christianity with keeping their marriage strong. She says that, when they disagree, they try to find compromise and direction in their faith. “It’s not about winning or losing,” she says, “but doing this journey together.”

She also says that she honors her husband and puts him on a pedestal. By doing so, she says, she encourages him to be the best husband and father that he can be. In return, he does the same for her. It seems to be working for them. In the meantime, we’ll be looking for many more amazing family photos!
