Cardi B has been dazzling fans with her non-nonsense and carefree personality since she first appeared on Love & Hip-Hop: New York. A young and energetic dancer, Cardi invested in herself launching a massive rap career with her breakout single, “Bodack Yellow.”

Since then, the Bronx-born rapper has had several hit singles including, “Up” and “WAP.” She’s won Grammys, worked with stellar artists, and be the face of numerous campaigns. However, Cardi has not been quiet about the racism and sexism that she’s experienced in the music industry.

In fact, she says that because she is an Afro-Latina, she’s been underpaid and undervalued at different points throughout her career.

Cardi B’s net worth is $30 million

Still, a relative newcomer in entertainment, Cardi B is already stacking her money. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the hip hop artist, rapper, TV, and social media personality is worth $30 million.

This is how Cardi B spends her money

It’s a good thing that Cardi is worth millions because she certainly has expensive taste. “Being an artist, looking good for ya, doing all this extra sh*t to please ya. That sh*t costs money,” Cardi B shared on Instagram. “My bills are like $300,000, $250,000 every single month, and I try to put it cheaper, but it’s just, it’s not.”

In addition to her bills, Cardi has also been known to drop jaw-dropping sums of money on jewelry for herself, her husband, Offset, and their daughter Kulture. The couple also purchased a $5.5 million home in Buckhead, Atlanta.

According to The Things, in 2018, Cardi dropped $400,000 for diamond Lola Bunny Chain that she wore at her performance at Coachella. Cardi also has no qualms about lavishing her toddler, she spent nearly half a million dollars on the little girl’s first birthday party alone.

However, Cardi’s most shocking expense has been on her lavish collection of cars. From a Lamborghini to a Rolls Royce and a Mercedes G-Wagon, it’s all pretty shocking since the rapper doesn’t even have her driver’s license.

Cardi B says she’s underpaid

Whatever you might think of Cardi’s spending habits, she’s earned every dime. In fact, she’s getting candid about how the gender and racial pay gaps have affected her.

“Race is real…. It’s just like, sometimes you do see that race really matters and sh*t because I’ve been seeing some influencers, that are not, you know, like me. Caucasian influencers. And they’re getting paid big money. I’m a whole artist,”she told XXL Magazine. “There is other artists that I know how much they’re getting paid. I’ve been doing my research now, heavy. And it’s like, Damn, muthaf*ckas is getting ripped the f*ck off. And that’s why I’m like, Nah, I’m gonna get everything that I deserve.”

The rapper, whose mother is from Trinidad and her father is from the Dominican Republic is no longer accepting anything less than what she deserves. She explained,

It’s good to be debt-free, but either way, I feel like I’ve been on deals before that like, yeah, I got paid, but I feel like I deserved more. And I made sure this year that I get everything I deserve. Not just on music deals but on everything.
