Celebrity Big Brother will return in a week with a star-studded cast facing off for a grand prize and the title. While they’ll compete in the same house, a potential change to a staple feature might cause the place to look entirely different.

The spiral staircase inside the house might be replaced for ‘Celebrity Big Brother 3’

According to a Big Brother spoiler account, the inside spiral staircase that leads to the Head of Household suite and loft has been replaced with a regular staircase for Celebrity Big Brother 3.

The house had included the feature since BB6 (2005), when it evolved from a one-story and the site of iconic moments such as Beau Beasley and Janelle Pierzina’s drunken argument.

Only a few minor changes have happened to the place over the past 16 years. Therefore, the potential staircase modification would serve as the first significant adjustment.

It’s unclear if the change is permanent or only for the CBB3 season.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will return in February 2022

Following a two-year break, CBS announced it would return with the third season of Celebrity Big Brother. Many fans began to speculate the network canceled the series, and host Julie Chen Moonves addressed the delay in a Dec. 2020 interview.

Talking to BB21 Favorite Houseguest Nicole Anthony on her podcast, Hello Friends, she explained she thought CBB should return during the COVID-19 pandemic as celebrities weren’t traveling at the time. Despite her attempts, the host claimed the network shut it down for the time being.

A year later, CBS announced the third season would premiere in February 2022. Several sources began reporting the show wanted a Bravo’s Real Housewife, a celebrity chef, former White House counselor KellyAnne Conway, and a familiar face from Netflix documentary, Tiger King, such as Doc Antle, Dillon Passage, or Carole Baskin, who previously competed on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars to fill their cast.

Fans initially expressed an interest in watching reality TV personality Tiffany “New York” Pollard and Miranda Cosgrove compete. Additionally, The Challenge stars Leroy Garrett, and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio noted they would like to participate.

Nene Leakes Sha’Carri Richardson among several who won’t join ‘Celebrity Big Brother 3’ cast

As the premiere date closed in, many accounts claimed they had the official list of celebrities who would face off in the upcoming series.

Several leaks named track sensation Sha’Carri Richardson, who was slated to compete in the 2020 Olympics, as a participant. However, her camp denied the reports to TMZ, noting the show previously contacted her but claimed the once Olympic favorite turned it down.

Additionally, Bravo stars NeNe Leakes (Real Housewives of Atlanta) and Erika Jayne (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) were named as potential cast members. However, they also denied the reports, insisting fans wouldn’t see them in the house for season 3.

Personal trainer Jillian Michaels is another name floating around claiming that the leaks aren’t accurate. However, rapper Vanilla Ice, singer-songwriter Todrick Hall, and Pollard remain possibilities. Celebrity Big Brother premieres Feb. 2, 2022.
