After the cast of The Hills played the Jersey Shore roommates on Celebrity Family Feud, some fans were aggravated at the way Frankie Delgado played the game — especially when he was “d*uchey” to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

Fans of MTV in 2009 were excited about this episode of ‘Celebrity Family Feud’

Celebrity Family Feud has delighted fans of shows like Queer Eye and RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a recent episode of the show had fans of MTV’s 2009 programming thrilled. The casts from two of MTV’s top reality shows, Jersey Shore and The Hills, played to win $50,000 for the charity of their choice.

Sorrentino, along with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, and Vinny Guadagnino’s famed Uncle Nino played for the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation team. On The Hills side, Whitney Port, Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, and Delgado played.

There was some apparent tension between Frankie and ‘The Situation’

Throughout the game, the cast of The Hills seemed to be on edge. When “The Situation” and Delgado approached the podium for their head-to-head match, Sorrentino extended his hand for a shake — as players on the famed game show are wont to do. Delgado extended his hand, then swiped it away, only to pantomime brushing his hair back.

“Now we got a situation,” Sorrentino joked. “Michael, yes, we do,” Delgado retorted. Seemingly sizing up their muscles, host Steve Harvey said: “I got all my money on him,” alluding to Sorrentino winning in a fight. Then, after Delgado’s answer earned him more points then Sorrentino, The Hills team decided to play the round. “I guess he can go play his little violin over there,” Pratt commented, making fun of Sorrentino’s guess. This entire interaction sent Jersey Shore fans spiraling on social media.

Some fans think ‘The Hills’ cast were rude to the ‘Jersey Shore’ roommates

After the episode aired, many fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the way they felt The Hills cast behaved. “I’m watching Family Feud with The Hills and Jersey Shore and I have to say, the people from The Hills are complete a*sholes,” one fan tweeted. Another Tweet read: “Watching Celebrity Family Feud and the cast [of The Hills] are pure garbage! You’ll never be as popular as Jersey Shore but you don’t have to be such punks about it.”

Others were annoyed with the way Frankie acted

A majority of fans were disappointed in the way Delgado played the game. “This was a great Family Feud — I thought Frankie gave “The Situation” too much attitude for no reason, way to keep it classy Situation,” one Jersey Shore fan tweeted. “The Hills guys were so d*uchey on Family Feud,” another viewer shared on Twitter. “I was legit mad when Jersey Shore lost.”

Despite how many viewers felt, the Jersey Shore roommates seemed to have enjoyed playing for the charity of their choice. Much to the disappointment of these fans, The Hills won the $50,000 prize, which they donated to cancer research.

At this time, neither cast has spoken about fan’s negative reactions.
