Tish Cyrus Called Daughter Miley Out In The Most ‘Mom’ Way Possible
Apparently, celebrities aren’t immune to criticism from their mothers. Tish Cyrus proved this theory when she called her daughter, Miley, out while on a “wilderness” vacation.
Tish Cyrus is like most moms when it comes to parenting Miley
Leticia “Tish” Cyrus may be the wife of country legend, Billy Ray, and mother of multiple celebrity children, but she still rules the roost. From red carpets to low-key vacations, Tish and Miley have a close bond, often shown in Miley’s Instagram stories.
Hours ago, Miley posted a shot of Tish lounging in the sun to her stories. The caption read, “My mom is the love of my life forever.”
However, it was just 24 hours earlier, the “Slide Away” singer took to her stories to tell a different story about her mom.
What did Tish Cyrus do to call Miley out?
Tish took a candid shot of Miley, who was on her phone while missing out on the world around her while vacationing in Utah. She’s posted quite a bit since her recent breakups from husband, Liam Hemsworth, and girlfriend, The Hills star, Kaitlynn Carter.
Some of the “content” Miley posted includes hiking with her dog, Beanie, kayaking, and living it up with Mother Nature.
Apparently Tish was over it. Miley posted the picture of herself on her Instagram story with the perfectly snarky caption, to sum up their mother-daughter relationship.
“My mom called this ‘disgusting’ there was a gorgeous sunset and I was inside on my phone ‘serving content,'” Miley wrote.
“It’s hard to get in trouble once you’re an adult but she said I looked like a ‘bratty millennial’ which I do… but is it bad if I like the pic and wanna post? Is that the worst? @tishcyrus.”
Tish’s picture and Miley’s story are in good fun. The two have spent a lot of time together on a “necessary trip,” according to Miley. Her sister, Brandi also joined the fun.
How Tish Cyrus is helping Miley heal from recent breakups
The last few months of Miley’s love life have been rocky. Hemsworth filed for divorce in August after seven months of marriage. The records cite “irreconcilable differences.”
A few days later, Hemsworth took to Instagram with a picture of a sunset with the caption, “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”
Immediately after her split from Hemsworth, Miley and Carter became an item. That relationship, however, just ended as well. Now, Miley is re-focusing on herself and career.
“Miley did not want to rush into anything,” a source previously told E! News about her relationship with Carter. “She and Kaitlynn have been close friends for a long time and things got romantic. Miley was ready to call it off because she wasn’t ready for a relationship,” a second source explains. “She needs to be by herself.”
The girls trip may have had a few snags between Tish, Miley, and her phone, but in the end, mother knows best.
