One of DeVitto’s early roles was in a 2003 episode of Dawson’s Creek. In 2005, she joined the cast of Beautiful People. She played the role of Karen Kerr from 2005 until the show ended in 2006. DeVitto made her film debut in the 2007 movie Heber Holiday. In 2008, she played Carrie for 14 episodes in the hit series One Tree Hill.

DeVitto rose to fame after joining the cast of Pretty Little Liars, in which she played Melissa Hastings from 2010 to 2017. She is also known for her roles in Army Wives and The Vampire Diaries.

DeVitto has been playing Dr. Natalie Manning n on Chicago Med since 2015. Her character started out with a hot and heavy romance with Dr. Will Halstead, but now she’s involved with Dr. Crockett Marcel. Things are progressing quickly now that they recently declared their love for each other.

Will has also moved on. He’s seeing Dr. Sabeena Virani. The duo has been working together on a drug trial for cardiac patients. Their close interactions led them to begin flirting and eventually go on a dinner date. However, Natalie’s mom seems to favor Will over Marcel. Hopefully, she’ll warm up to Marcel with time.

DeVitto says she still roots for Natalie Manning and Will Halstead (affectionately called Manstead by fans). Who knows? Maybe the former TV couple will reunite and pick up where they left off.

“Obviously, I know that we have a drama show and I know that it has to be interesting,” DeVitto tells Us Weekly. If Will and Natalie were just together the whole time, it could be boring because it’s not real life. But I have to say, I always hold a candle for Manstead.”

DeVitto says she probably still wishes the couple would get back together because the show started with them as an item. She would like things to go back to the way they were in the beginning. “Maybe it’s just because that’s the way the show started. It just seems like the OG couple to me. I hold hope out for them, but you never know!” she says in her Us Weekly interview.

Torrey DeVitto’s work outside of acting

DeVitto has entertainment credits outside of acting. As of this writing, she has two credits as a producer. She made her production debut with the 2015 film Cold. She is also set to produce a documentary titled Saving Daisy. DeVitto also has one soundtrack credit for her performance during a 2008 episode of One Tree Hill titled “Touch Me I’m Going to Scream: Part 1.” She performed “Hot Stuff.”
